Location was close to everything we wanted to do and about 15 minutes from the base. The host and family were great at communicating with us. There was an issue with the house on our first night and the host put us in another property until they could get the issue resolved, made sure we were good with everything, and even brought our dogs gifts. For a 6 day stay with 2 people we were supplied with ONLY 3 rolls of TP and 2 towels each. There were basically NO cleaning supplies like dish soap to hand wash dishes or enough dish towels for the kitchen. There was NO air freshener in the bathroom even though the bathroom was in close proximity to all the other rooms. The sponge in the kitchen was WELL USED with hairs stuck in the green scrubber part. Most rentals I’ve rented have you a NEW sponge for the kitchen. They’re fairly cheap at the dollar store so could be purchased cheap. If you went barefoot in the rental your feet were black before it was bed time. So you’d have to wash your feet before bed. I’d also recommend a detachable shower head in the shower to wash your feet. I’d also recommend the sprayer hose in the kitchen sink be fixed as it did not work. Also there were only 2 trash bags for 5 days. Would be nice to have more than 2 trash bags for 5 day stay. The BBQ on the back patio was NOT propane which would be nice to know ahead of time. I just feel like other rentals I’ve stayed at in the past DEFINITELY cared about the details. I feel like this rental just BARELY gave you enough to get by. Sorry but would NOT recommend this rental as far as being equipped for stays longer that 2 nights. ##### LeeAnn B. Cute home close to the downtown/river walking area. Unfortunately it rained the entire time there so we were not able to enjoy the outside area. However it is a cute set-up. With it being a dog friendly rental, the only downside was that the grass needed to be cut in the fenced in backyard. Comfortable house and beds. There were several lovely touches that showed that property is well cared for. Also, the wifi works great if you need to work remotely. My only hesitation about writing a good review is that the house might not be available when we want to rent it again! We were coming to our sons Turning Green Graduation at Ft. Moore and the house worked out perfect. The house is only about 20 minutes from the base. It was a great place place for our family to hang out during his weekend pass. The location was great, and there were some restaurants and a grocery store (Piggly Wiggly) within walking distance. The house was a cool historic 100 year old house that was in really good shape. It had a nice yard with a fire pit that we enjoyed. There was also a nice porch to sit and visit. Izzy was a great communicator, and there were no issues.
