Comfortable stay The property is a bit on the outskirts of Columbia but everything seemed to be working 15 minutes. We came for my son’s graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson. It took 15-20 mins to get on base from the house. House was cozy and comfortable. It did not have basic staples, like dish soap, cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc so plan accordingly. The house was clean, kitchen well furnished and the decor was tasteful. It has a front porch with a swing to enjoy warm weather evenings. The yard was well kept and the neighborhood is older but quite. I had a small issue with the lock but Andrew was very responsive and took care of it immediate. He was also very accommodating when I had a small request. It was a safe area with a police station right around the corner as well. Convenient to downtown or the mall, so getting around was easy. My son wanted a home cooked meal before going off to school and there was more than enough cookware. Very quiet neighborhood close to downtown Columbia.
