I did not like that even though they can look up your IHG account, they refused to acknowledge my IHG Diamond Ambassador Elite Status because I booked through a website other than IHG website. I am still “me” so how is it that I don’t get credit for staying here (points OR my stay nights acknowledged). They did allow me to park in the diamond elite parking though but that was only because the woman at the front desk said, “oh we don’t check that”. Another woman heard her say that, who I assume was not diamond elite and said, well we parking there too and told one more car that was with them to park there. Luckily I didn’t get a spot there but I believe if you have earned the status, that’s who should be allowed to park there. I did not like that. I also did not like that there no refrigerator, the microwave is down at the front desk and breakfast doesn’t start until 7:00am when it ppl are there for work, we usually are gone by that time. It was loud, doors slamming and difficult to sleep because the thermostat was broken. Early in the morning, there was staff smoking outside the front doors and the smoke smell was pungent. On the other hand. The staff were friendly, inviting and nice. I absolutely appreciate that. I would stay here again because of the cleanliness but it would be a last resort kind of thing. If I had other options with refrigerator and microwave, that’s where I would stay.

This is always my first choice when coming to Columbia mo. Its always clean and safe. I like that its near shopping and restaurants and the highway but still feels private.

TV service was having an outside issue that was corrected, nothing the Hotel could do. As to the other issues, you must have been at a different hotel, you can even get under out beds

There's a restaurant attached, but we didn't dine there. I think it had good reviews. We made the mistake of going to Zaxby's which was a disaster. But, the hotel was spotless and staff was excellent and understanding of our need to leave early. There are good shopping and dining options within 2 miles. Mizzou campus is an easy drive.

Nice Place
The counter staff was wonderful. They were nice and accommodating. Place was very clean and there was free breakfast until 11. (Later than others). The water pressure wasn’t there but it worked.

Room floor was dirty and sticky when I checked in, and the housekeeper had to come mop the floor. The in room coffee maker is filthy. Also, the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful when it turned out that the room did not have a refrigerator as had been advertised on Expedia.

thank you for your feedback. You booked a Standard room and therefore, Your room does not have a refrigerator in those room types. the floor may have been sticky from the cleaning product, but nonetheless it was cleaned.

The room was a handicap room. And the handicap features actually got in the way when trying to shower. The shower also had almost no water pressure. There was fecal matter on the wall next to the toilet. The Kleenex box in the bathroom was empty.

Thank you for your feedback, not all of our room are equipped with Refrigerators and microwaves, as this concept of Hotel, is a Holiday Inn Express and Suites, therefore only the suites which are equipped for longer stays, will have those amenities in them
