The Space:
Indulge in the allure of a family getaway at our luxury vacation haven, strategically nestled near the base of Pike's Peak. Here, every detail is curated to elevate your experience, ensuring a seamless blend of comfort and luxury.

LIVING SPACES
The main floor welcomes you with a bright and spacious kitchen, perfectly paired with a living room designed for relaxation, conversation, and entertainment. Upstairs, two cozy bedrooms await, complemented by an additional two downstairs, providing ample space for families or groups.

MASTER SUITE MARVEL
Ascend to the upstairs haven, where a hallway leads to a 3/4 bath for guests and unveils the Queen bedroom and the opulent master suite. The master suite, a sanctuary of indulgence, boasts a posh King bed, open closet space, a wall-mounted smart TV, a modern tub, twin sinks, a special steam shower, and a private laundry area.

DOWNSTAIRS DELIGHT
Discover the downstairs realm with a recreation room offering a panoramic view of Pike's Peak and the Garden of the Gods. This space features a bar, a versatile 3-function table for gaming, and a living room adorned with comfortable recliner sofa-bomber style chairs. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a bunk bed, are tucked away for quiet retreats. A full bath and laundry facilities complete the convenience of this level.

BACKYARD BLISS
Step into the backyard oasis, where a shared hot tub beckons. Nestled at the property's rear, it offers a serene space to unwind amidst bubbles. Whether mingling with fellow travelers or enjoying exclusive moments, the hot tub promises relaxation on a first-come, first-served basis.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION OPTION
Consider the "Peak View Little Luxury Home," a standalone tiny house behind and above Peak View Family Lux Home. With its own Peak-facing deck, King bed, blackout drapes, double shower, full-service kitchen, and dedicated parking, it provides a private retreat for singles, couples, or a small family associated with your group.

For the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside PeakView Family Lux, and we regret to inform you that pets are not allowed.

Guest Access:
The whole house is yours for enjoying during your stay. The tiny house, known as PeakView Lil Lux, up the steps off the back yard is a separately rented with its own parking. If you have not separately rented "Peak View Little Lux", please respect the privacy of the guests there by staying off the steps and by keeping noise on the patio and in the yard to reasonable levels.

The Neighborhood:
PeakView is in a quiet, safe mountain suburban neighborhood comprised mostly of single family homes. The neighborhood is in Old Colorado City (OCC), the capital of what was once the Colorado Territory in pioneer days. Downtown OCC, with its cafes, galleries and shops, is a mile south of PeakView. Garden of The Gods is visible from the home's West windows, and the Visitor's Center is only 5 minutes north.

Getting Around:
Your car is likely to be the most convenient mode for getting to all the places you'd like to see in the area, however, many attractions are bike-able within minutes, and some, such as Garden of The Gods, are within 15 minutes' walk. If you prefer public transportation, City buses go on a regular schedule from nearby Old Colorado City East to downtown Colorado Springs and West to Manitou Springs. Uber, Lyft and taxi are also available for local travel.

For a seamless booking experience, a Rental Agreement is required for all reservations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we'll provide details for completing the agreement. We look forward to hosting you!

For a seamless check-in experience, you'll receive a unique code via message along with your check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival. You'll use this code for keyless entry.

We've also prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.

Our home is in a mostly single-family home neighborhood just a mile from downtown Old Colorado City. The neighbors are friendly, and we'd like to keep things that way so please, by all means have family and friends over to PeakView, but don't throw any parties or make excessive noise that would disrupt the peaceful setting.

The driveway to the entry door of Peakview Family Lux Home is steep and the carport is narrow. Park on the street in inclement weather if you're concerned about your vehicle's ability to handle the driveway, mind your door on the driver's side as you exit the vehicle, and mind your head on the carport as you exit the passenger side of the vehicle.

The steam shower in the master suite gets quite hot by design. We recommend you experiment with less intense temperature settings when you first try the shower, that you confine steam baths to 10 minutes for safety, and that you exit immediately if you fee lightheaded at any time. Keep the shower door open when the steam shower is not in use to vent.

Consider turning smart phones down and/or tucking them away as you explore Pike's Peak area parks, trails and wilderness areas. This area is a great place to truly connect with yourself and nature! Be prepared and wear layers of clothing to provide yourself maximum flexibility in Colorado's often rapidly changing, high-altitude (6000' and up) , semi-arid climate. Stay hydrated here, especially if you're coming from lower elevations, and build-up over the duration of your stay to physical challenges like the Manitou Incline or other challenging hikes and activities. Safety first!

Most of all, have fun. This area is a natural wonderland, and if you've selected PeakView as your adventure hub, you're going to enjoy Colorado in style!

***We frequently drain and refill our hot tub so that it is clean and sanitary for all of our guests! Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at crazy cold temperatures in the winter - sometimes as low as 48°. Our hot tub heats at about 6° per hour which puts the hot tub heated to 102° later in the evening when it has been drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.

Amazing time
We had a blast from the moment we arrived. We play pool till 3am. All the amenities were very accommodating. The only downside was that the grill was dirty but it was no problem cleaning it. We had a great experience.

Great Place to Stay
We arrived about 7:00 and Kaitlyn had everything arranged perfectly. Sparking clean house with all the the furnishing looking brand new. The steam shower in the master bedroom is to die for and the outside hot tub was amazing. The 4 bedrooms are spacious and there was plenty of room for the 3 couples in our party. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and cookware anyone would every need. I highly recommend this house for anyone staying in Colorado Springs.
