It's home to gorgeous colorful birds that you will see during your stay. It's a fully renovated 1- bedroom home with modern Luxe Interiors with a 65 inch smart TOSHIBA television. It comes with huge deck, outdoor table set for 2\. The sights and sounds surrounding this destination are experienced by few. With large deck and sound of nature can be enjoyed night and day. Green Mountain Falls is absolutely gorgeous in all four seasons. Pleanty of hiking options with stunning beauty. Few hikes has waterfalls too. The town is surrouned on three sides by Pike National Forest. Green Mountain Falls is a quiet, unique and peaceful mountain town. Nearest big town is woodland park. from the house you can walk to the town or drive around in a car. There are no parking fees anywhere in town. THINGS TO KNOW We don’t have pavement, we have stone & mud, so we ask that shoes are removed. Please do not keep any food in the bedrooms. Absolutely No Smoking is allowed at this home. Please respect quiet hours and be respectful to neighbors. Due to Fire hazards we do not have any indoor or outdoor fire pits. This is a BEAR Country. Please do not leave any food, trash or trash bags anywhere outside or in car. There is a bear proof trash can located on level 1 incase if you need to put any trash. Please make sure to close the lid. No Dogs, No Cats and No Other animals are allowed in this house. We hiked up to the water fall and the walk up was as pretty as the fall. Deer everywhere. The locals were so nice. We even experienced a community parade and all day festival. We were a short drive to Red Rock open space, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. We left feeling very refreshed.The only mislead was the stairs leading down or up to the room. Pics made it look like a walkway but there were actually about 15 narrow stairs if you were coming up or down. We did fine but my 83 year old mom is in pretty good shape. Some may not have fairs as well and it was hard getting our belongings up and down. I loved staying here and would definitely stay again. I was traveling solo and this was a perfect landing pad after a day out and about. The area felt safe and the location was fantastic with an easy 20 min drive to Colorado Springs or a 10 min drive to Woodland Park. All of the essentials are provided - I ate out most days, but there is a full fridge to store leftovers and snacks, a microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, etc. I will note that the general noise from the unit above carries down as well as the unit next door, but everyone was respectful. It was not a problem for me, but might be for someone that prefers a private and quiet environment. The owner also deserves top ratings - they assisted me with something and couldn’t have been more accommodating and nice to talk with. Coming back from a long day to this quaint apartment was the breath of fresh air I needed! Thank you for the wonderful stay. ##### Candice S.
