The location is ideal for day trips to many great places. The caboose is just the right size for two. As we don’t like to eat every meal out, having the grill, mini fridge, and microwave was a huge help. We also greatly enjoyed the hot tub and used it everyday. There is no stovetop but there is a microwave and a grill. We spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors and the local shops/restaurants in Manitou Springs so we did not utilize the kitchen area much. No AC, but the caboose sits in a wooded area with lots of air movement. We opened the windows and turned on the fans which kept it quite cool (in August!). I contacted the owner once through the VRBO app and the response was immediate. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience. The caboose is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. I would recommend it for any couple looking for a short stay in the area who plan to enjoy what the surrounding community has to offer. ##### Kimberly R.
