Herdwick View is a luxurious 4-bedroom Victorian house, set in the beautiful and peaceful northern area of the Lake District National Park, on the outskirts of the Herdwick Croft Caravan park. Surrounded by large private gardens, there is also a summer house and hot tub for outside entertaining.  
  
Situated just a few miles from ever-popular Keswick and the market town of Cockermouth, the property enjoys an enviable location in a pretty part of the Lake District with its traditional feel and miles of drystone walls and farmland. Herdwick View is just a stone’s throw from the shores of Bassenthwaite, with nearby Derwentwater and Overwater all overlooked by the striking Northern Fells of Skiddaw and Blencathra. From the doorstep you are offered easy access to a multitude of footpaths, thanks to the close proximity to the high fells of the northern Lakes and being within easy reach of the Whinlatter mountain bike trails. Here you are also just a 10-minute walk from the award-winning Lakes Distillery with its excellent range of spirits, or alternatively choose from a great selection of local country pubs. Relax and unwind in one of the most peaceful corners of the Lake District. Herdwick Croft is also a popular choice for those attending weddings at the nearby Armathwaite Hall and is ideal for family and friends attending such celebrations or for booking yourself into their Luxury Spa for some rest and relaxation.
