Nous sommes absolument enchantés de notre séjour à Vista Del Alma. Tout était parfait jusqu’au moindre détail. Sans hésitez le plus bel hôtel du Costa Rica (nous en avons fait 11). La beauté et créativité de chaque villa / chaque objet, chaque peinture a une histoire. (nous en avons fait deux). On ressent tout l’amour que les propriétaires ont infusé dans ce projet. La gentillesse sincère et la disponibilité de chaque membre de l’équipe. (Naza <3) Tout fonctionne, tout sens bon, tout est beaux, tout est merveilleux ! De plus cet endroit merveilleux, Vista Del Alma (Vue de L’ame) est le lieu que mon amoureux a choisi pour me faire le plus beau cadeau en me demandant de l’épouser et de passer ensemble les étapes de la vie. Je ne m’y attendais pas maintenant, la surprise était totale ! L’equipe l’a secondé à merveille (je n’en dirais pas plus si jamais cela vous arrive je ne révèle pas les surprises.. ) mais je n’aurais pas souhaité un autre lieu, un autre moment. N’hesitez pas à passer une soirée avec Mayanne à peindre au couché du soleil en buvant de vin de qualité Italien. C’est un souvenir incroyable ! Vraiment je vous recommande Vista del Alma <3 N’hesitez Pas c’est encore plus beau en vrai que sur votre écran. Nous avons hâte d’y retourner !

Beautiful spot, high up on the hills above Santa Terresa but we wouldn't come back. Its at the top of the steepest and most difficult hill I've ever driven up. I'm an very experienced driver, used to driving in Mexico, Greece and Costa Rico, but I didn't want to drive up and down those hills particularly at night. It becomes a constant worry when you go into town so you end up being "trapped" in he place. There's also no way of walking to the place. You really do need a 4 wheel drive or ATV to get here. The property is interesting but needs a lot of maintenance, its a few years old and showing signs of wear and tear from the tough environment. You do get to see lots of wildlife being at tree level, we had a pool which was "watering hole" for the local Racoon and Coatimundi population, which was great. One thing that does need to be changed is the stocking of the refrigerator. If a place has a full kitchen in the unit which ours did, it shouldn't be filled with "stuff" you are trying to sell to your guests ! For the $800 per night cost it would be nice to provide free bottled water everyday. I know there's a filtration system for the tap water but guests don't know how well that's maintained, not worth the risk. We did enjoy seeing the place and the wildlife, it just needs some work to justify the cost.

Just lovely. This is exactly the place to completely relax. Truly the only thing I would request is more hooks in the room for various bathing suits, robes, towels, etc. It was the romantic escape we needed. Bed was firm and wonderful. Shower was a delight. Plunge pool was amazing. View was spectacular. Would visit again — also, the orange cat that roams the property is the best cat. I love him and would go back just to hang out with him.

Incredible stay! Loved the amethyst villa with hot tub. Gorgeous view. Everything clean and comfortable. Thankful for the 4x4 warning so we were prepared with the correct vehicle. Staff were super friendly although a bit disorganized and took weeks to respond to inquiries before we arrived, and after we arrived messaging us the same questions from two phones, just felt not on par with the quality and price of everything else. Still everything was wonderful!

I don't think the pictures does justice to what this place actually is. One of the most incredible views. To begin with the level of communication this place gives, you are chatting with the front desk before you even arrive to Costa Rica. Any questions you have, they'll answer. Upon arriving, they give you a little tour of the resort which when you arrive to your villa, your bags are already there. The first thing you have to do as you walk into your room is pick your mouth up from the floor. This place is absolutely stunning. Warning for travelers coming to Santa Teresa and/or Costa Rica in general: Rent an SUV 4x4 to transport around. The roads are not great. This resort as many things in Costa Rica sit on a very steep hill. We saw people walking down the hill to get the town but we decided to drive. The place is very safe & everyone is very friendly. Just book the place.

The owners and staff of Vista Del Alma have excelled in setting their boutique resort apart from all others in every way - from the unique architecture, luxurious well-designed interiors, to the smallest supplied incidentals (comfortable robes, hand crafted body wash and shampoo, cappuccino maker, etc.). Worth it
Experience was amazing. The views were worth it alone and having the hot tub overlooking the ocean was spectacular. The staff was wonderful and my wife very much enjoyed the yoga sessions. Need a 4x4 to get up the hill.

My husband and I stayed here on our first sfo of our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted it to be. It was a relaxing and serene we barely left the room. Also a shout out to Estefania at the pool for making our stay comfortable and pleasant. All around an amazing property.

Beautiful rooms and location, great service
Beautiful location with excellent service. Enjoyed breakfast in the room, attentive communications over WhatsApp and elegant room setting. Just make sure you get the right car to access the property, as it is at the end of the steep road. But the hotel staff give you timely advice at the time of booking. The hill is worth the views and the privacy.

This place is a slice of heaven! Do not hesitate to stay here if you want to have your dream vacation and enjoy the beautiful town of Santa from the best view. The owners are really nice, breakfast delicious, and overall we felt welcomed. The staff is outstanding, they helped me with food deliveries, activities, surfing class (must take one) and made my vacations fantastic. Thank you!!

Awesome boutique hotel with amazing views perfect for a getaway and located in the quiet area of santa teresa the good part about being a little far from the main street is that you can scape from all of the dust and noise (its a lot). Be sure to bring a car to the hotel 4x4 if possible but they are working on fixing the road at this moment.

Great place to take a rest, enjoy the view and just relax! Highly recommended, you just won't regret at all! The staff, the place and amenities were just outstanding. Hope to be back as soon as possible! Make sure to have a 4WD or an ATV.

We had villa 3 and it had the most breathtaking view of the ocean. The bed faces the water so you can lay in bed and watch the sunset. The shower even has a window so you can have a relaxing shower while the sun is going down. I was beautiful. The driveway is up a mountain so you will definitely need a 4-wheel drive vehicle. We had a few ants but that is to be expected when it is so dry. We live in Texas and get ants in the summer so we weren’t concerned about them. I highly recommend this to everyone.
