We got to the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Castle Howard and Bank Hall as well as visiting friends and relatives while we were here from New Zealand. The cottage was very well equipped but my husband's only critisism was that the bed was too small 🙃"

A lovely big bathroom and good kitchen. No outside space to speak of but we sat in the small yard one afternoon. "Great location for the Bronte Parsonage Museum - just a 10 minute walk - with the shops and bars/cafes of Main Street just a 3 minute walk. Lovely big park directly opposite. House was small but very clean and bed was comfortable. Only small things really - the kitchen bin would not stay closed, which may have contributed to the slightly musty smell. In the bathroom, the towel radiator is not securely attached to the wall, and if the bath is slippy, there is then nothing to hold on to as you...
