When I asked to be refunded or have my booking cancelled, they told me it wasn’t something they could do as Hotels.com needed to do. Contacted Hotels.com explaining the situation and they had been unable to make contact with the Hotel initially. And now I’m left out of pocket, paying for a hotel room that I didn’t stay in. When reading the reviews, i was debating on staying here but thought lets give it a go anyways.. im so glad i did choose to stay here!!!! This place is great, not the best aesthetically but a great place to stay.. the one staff member there (name is calvin btw) is an absolute legend, very welcoming, always doing his best to help out in anyway and a generally all round nice guy.. was an absolute pleasure to stay here.. will definitely be back very soon!! After about an hour of trying to find it in the dark, we finally got in. We had been given a code but no room number. We entered and there were two shared toilets. One of the rooms was ajar but all others closed, so thought it must be our room. Unfortunately, there was a man in the room who obviously got as much of a fright as I did. Decided at that point we were not staying and ended up trying to find another hotel in the middle of the night.
