From the spacious wooden terrace you have a wonderful view of the national park and the Brocken. Numerous well-signposted hiking trails of different lengths lead through the Harz National Park. Mountain bikers can start tours of the "Volksbank Arena Harz" routes here, and those who have not brought their own bike can easily rent a mountain bike or e-bike here. The small town is also a fantastic starting point for motorcyclists for the most beautiful trips.
