Its not dirty, baseboards and air vents need wiped doww. So its clean. Not as clean as it was during my 1st stay. Hose is responsive, helpful and friendly. I gave this 5 stars the 1st time. I am giving it 5 stars again because i trust Jonathan will address these issues promptly. The are is beautiful. The host was excellent, very responsive. Our check in date was 3/31 which was Easter. We found 2 bunnies, a card and easter eggs... so amazingly thoughtful. There is also a generator which is great when your about 15 mins from civilization. Great hiking in the area and right behind the house.. There were dog dishes, a gate, which was great for our dog for the porch. Dog leashes, umbrellas, fire starters for the fire pit. The supplies for smores were on the island. The cutest tiny waffle maker you ever saw too. 45 min to mammoth caves. 12 mins to public access to Nolin River Lake with incredible views. It was fantastic i am booking again for fall. If you have a more than 2-3 I would say bring 1 big frying pan. It has all the necessary equipment for everything else. The frying pans are small but of very good quality. All of the appliances were brand new and very tech savvy. HUGE washing machine and dryer. We loved it we are DEFINITELY booking this property again. The White Pines Lodge was decorated nice and laid out well for the seven of us. There was plenty of space and privacy when needed. Once we were there, we truly enjoyed our stay. I am not impressed with the weeks leading up to this adventure. Communication was poor. I like to have things in place and confirmed. Although the cabin had nearly everything we needed, the kitchen cookware needs replaced. Few pots and pans. They are burnt and hard to use. We pulled up to an unsightly mess of trash. Even a cardboard box of trash at the steps of the home. These little things make a big difference upon arrival. My final thought, according to the description of this property online, one review in particular calls this a cabin on the lake. Not true. There is no lake within view. WAY closer to other homes as well. Not as secluded as we would have liked.Thank goodness the weather and the nice interior kept us inside. ##### Jan S.
