The only issue is poor communication with the owner of the property. The home is on a gated, private road and we were not given a code to access or even told about the gate. We contacted the owner and they did not respond. We had to knock on a nearby neighbors door and ask if they could give us the code to let us through the gate. Thankfully they were very kind but this could’ve been handled differently. I did not receive a response from the owner until morning. The house was beautiful and very nice. Pictures don't do it justice. Scott was very responsive with any and all questions that came up during our visit. Visited mammoth cave and bowling green during our short stay and loved the local restaurant Buoys at the lodge( we actually ate there twice). The kitchen and dining area are large and perfect for a family gathering. The house had lots of room to spread out with a game room in the lower level. The views of the lake were beautiful, but water levels are low this time of year. Bring food and drinks with you. It’s a dry county and the only grocery store we could find within a 30 minute drive was Dollar General. As long as you come fully stocked, it’s a wonderful place to stay! ##### Jody L.
