It was an ‘experience’ Christmas gift for my family - 2 daughters, sons in law and grandchildren. Lovely walks on the property, visits to the alpacas, roasting marshmallows on the fires, inside and out, preparing meals together, and the chance to sit around and read and play some games together. The house is definitely quirky, and the warmth from the fires was needed, despite the reverse cycle air conditioner, but the beds are warm and comfortable, the kitchen is very well provisioned, the breakfast offering was very generous and it is lovely to be surrounded by trees and birds in quiet privacy. The attic room, offers very little soundproofing, so earplugs might be useful. It was also lovely to have our dog come along- she had a wonderful time accompanying us on our walks and hanging out with all her pack. Definitely recommend Brontë Manor for a rejuvenating break. ##### Catherine O. It’s a great location to take dogs, lots of birds and bushland, and the manor is full of character. It was well supplied with breakfast ingredients. There is still room for improvement- a good clean, and some general maintenance. I had the loft bedroom and hit my head on the ceiling beams a couple of times because the bed is so high while the ceiling is so low.
