"Laurie & Curt’s rancho was exactly what I was looking for… isolated from other properties and immersed in the desert. Literally right outside the back door are massive boulders as well trails that lead into a canyon that’s technically Joshua Tree NP. Not to mention the west park entrance is only a five minute drive away. The place itself is small but perfect and stocked with everything that’s needed. Laurie was so communicative and helpful. Definitely will be coming back!!"

Super clean, easy to access the west entrance of the park, convenient to get to brunch and got to see some local critters around the property. Thanks for hosting some of our new favorite memories!"

"This is a beautiful comfortable property with lots of space. The views are incredible, and there is peace and quiet. We felt safe and relaxed here. Proximity to 29 Palms and Joshua Tree makes it convenient. The roads are a little rough getting up to the site, but passable. Just be aware the turnoff is not easy to see at night. Once you arrive, you will be so happy with your choice. Great place!!!"

"This is an amazing little cabin in the desert! We arrived after sunset and our gps kept telling us to use the wrong road, but thanks to Edgar’s clear instructions, we found the cabin with ease. Everything was so clean and tidy but the most impressive part was the property. Not only were the views of the mountains stunning, all the decor on property was phenomenal. "Was looking for some fresh air & time away from constant construction noise at my house in San Diego. This place checked all the boxes! Quiet, clean and well stocked. View from the hot tub at sunset was fabulous (also appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub). Fencing around the property was secure - I brought my two dogs and they had fun exploring/running free during the day. The record player worked - great touch! Accessing the property does involve some sandy roads but I had no issue...

"Hosts were really responsive whenever we had any questions and were really detailed with the initial messages to get us acquainted. Property was exactly as described. Quite and secluded which was what we had wanted. We did experience the “low tide” the hosts described and they were nice enough to give us some extra time before check out."

"Planned a first-time desert trip for my 3 and 6yr olds. Everything in the parks is always booked and needed a back up plan “just in case” it was too much for them. Rained our second day so the back up worked perfectly. Plenty of land to stretch out. Set up the tent now far from the fire pit and worked out nicely. Views are great."

"This property is minutes away from the entrance of Joshua Tree National park. Perfect for 2 families to hang. The beds are super comfy and the property is pretty clean and appears to be newly upgraded. Nice to have an EV charger + washer/dryer onsite. This location is very close to restaurants and coffee (10 minute walk). They have a cute patio that has shade provided by grape vines. I think due to it being in town and having some moderate light pollution It was hard to see the stars at night....
