The building is old, which could be charming if the paint were fresh and the amenities luxurious. But the paint is tired, especially in the bathroom and stairs, and the bedding and furnishings are only adequate, not luxurious. The rugs are somewhat shabby and weren’t vacuumed well. The stairway upstairs is narrow and has no door into the apartment at the top. Young children would not do well here because of the fall hazard. The bathroom has an awkward entrance from this stairwell, not from a bedroom or living area. The shower IS nice, but doesn't make up for the rest of it.
