The beach was beautiful and the bar alive with guest. The room was spacious enough to enjoy the beach weekend and had the basic essentials for our short stay. However, the old-empty water fountain & pool outside were eye sores, obstructing out view of the beach. The property is under renovation so the pool was closed. They are working on remodeling guests rooms also. They only food was at a beach bbq shack but the food was very good. Not many guests so it was very quiet and we had an Amazing view of ocean. A complementary water taxi takes you from town to the hotel. It is very close to all the bars, restaurants and night life. Yes, it is dated and a bit run down, but the apparently new owners are working on the place. The location is perfect, especially if you don’t want to rent a car, since the beach is beautiful and clean and all the amenities of town are a few quick ferry-ride minutes away. The beach bar is nice and the hotel staff were all friendly and accommodating. The convenient boat shuttle to the island ensures minimal wait times. The island's beach is well-maintained, the drinks at the bar are excellent, and the food is outstanding.
