"Full of bugs Beds were not usable. Had metal poking up on both beds, screaming kids until 1 o’clock in the morning, banging on the walls and screaming rundown building when we asked for another unit, the other unit was exactly the same had bugs in it run down worthless bed the owner that told us that if we wanted a refund we had to turn over the keys and leave right now that was at 1:30 in the morning we had to sleep with our car on the streets of St. Croix. This owner never responded to Orbitz...

Jamey, the hotel manager is spectacular. She helped us with whatever we needed, offered the most positive and friendliness in a person that's now a rarity. What a wonderful hotel and we can't wait to return The Comanche Hotel will be the only Hotel we will ever book in St. Croix. Amazingly clean and charming room, ocean view, right downtown so everything is in blocks walk. Amazing Pavillion whwre they have sip and paint open air available monthly. Beautiful and wonderful. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed this Hotel experience. "

"Room was right on the ocean. Nobody was swimming on their beach because of seaweed. Main Italian restaurant was closed. They are understaffed. Buffet dinner was mediocre. The bartenders were great and the bar food was very good. The room looked brand new. Only half of the staff were friendly and smiled. (Beware of driving on the island - no shoulders, can’t see around corners because of vegetation.)"

"Stayed in a villa which is just a large room but it is right on the water with a nice patio, two chairs and a table. It was a 1 minute walk to the pool. Hotel is somewhat secluded on the East End, which I thought was good but my wife wanted some activity at night and there was not any. We did stay Sunday-Thursday and there might be more activity on the weekend when the steakhouse restaurant is open. Overall, nice clean rooms, pool is excellent, right on the water but no beach or swimming from the hotel area. Public beach is an easy 10-minute walk."
