Staff, in particular Peter and Fern, as well as the restaurant servers were genuinely accommodating and friendly. The beach is beautiful although the waves are quite intense for young kids. It is a true higher end 4 star hotel. That being said, I have stayed at world class hotels al over Thailand and the Surin outrigger has the best trained staff I have seen at any hotel. They are exceptional, everyone working there is just so kind and accommodating always. I always stay here when I come to Phuket. All staff, whether reception, waitress, housekeeper or security, are very friendly and helpful. very very nice. Although it’s not located in prime area, it still a great hotel for me. There are some shop, local market and beach nearby. Just ask the receptionist, she is very helpful. An AMAZING hotel experience! I’ve travelled quite a lot with many experiences, but we loved everything about this hotel! The excellent service the staff provided stood out the most to us- always on their toes, superhelpful and caring! We always felt seen and welcomed. The hotel area is so pretty and gives off a nice surfer-friendly, luxurious vibe. They let us have a room more suited for our needs, with a private pool :)) Room was super clean, light, bed was good size and very soft and comfy (unlike most beds in Thailand perhaps), nice outdoor area and design details you just want to take home! The beach is a 2 min walk across the road between a pond and a cute park. Also- massage session was amazing as well as the food!
