Skip booking a small room at a local hotel. At our winter prices, you can cozy up and spread out in this beautiful little cabin with spectacular views right on “little” Lake Wissota. Great place to stay for traveling sport families with 4 beds and full kitchen to utilize. A short walk off our shore is the best ice fishing on the lake. A plowed road from the near by boat landing makes it easy to access the whole little lake for fishing. Ice skate at the town hall a few miles down the road. We sometimes have our own rink plowed as well, weather permitting. Snowshoeing and skiing are popular activities on the lake as well. Inside, you will find a very clean and well stocked kitchen with all new appliances and a main floor washer and dryer. In the bedrooms, the mattresses have been reviewed by guests as very comfortable making for a great night sleep. Enjoy free wifi during your stay. The views of the lake from the living room and bedroom were spectactular - if only we had a boat for sunset cruising! All the kitchen accomodations were top notched and thankfully the TV channels were as promised. Watched three Cubs payoff games while we were there. Very convenient and easy location to drive to many restaurants and bars ( or walk to in a couple of cases). Quick access to downtown Chippawa Falls as well as many apple orchards. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, tranquil cabin. Doug and Jennifer were very responsive and keep the property in tip top shape. Very comfortable, clean and modern and tastefully appointed. Make sure to bring your fishing pole to catch blue gills the size of your hand. It rained 4 out of the 5 days but can only blame mother nature for that. There was no canoe which we had counted on so we could go fishing. We fished off the pier but was not the same.
