This was our first stay. The location by downtown was excellent. We were able to walk to downtown shops and park.My wife was delighted with the kitchen, which was fully equipped, much better than some places we have stayed at. The Misty Moon also provides linen, which many Chincoteague locations do not. This is a superior house at Chincoteague in our opinion.The staff communicated by text throughout the stay, including letting us know that the house was ready and we could check in early on our arrival date. The text updates were a positive service.The only problem is that the Misty Moon is located behind two other houses. The mailbox is on Main Street, but the check-in instructions did not specify that I needed to turn into a lane between two houses to reach the Misty Moon. The location off Main Street is actually a great feature, since the house is downtown, but not affected by nighttime traffic.We will definitely rebook at this location when we return to Chincoteague. ##### Morgan B. It is decorated with beautiful, live plants, accent, wallpaper, rustic, and classic pictures and lovely furniture. We enjoyed the front porch and the side porch for morning coffee and evening wine. The TV on the side screened in porch was a plus. The house was so clean and well taken care of, and the landscaping was divine.. I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again ##### Jennifer C.
