This cozy Vacation Home is just that - a HOME, not just a place to lay your head at night. Located in popular Piney Island, which happens to be the closest community to Assateague National Seashore, you will love Island Sage's quiet and peaceful location on a cul-de-sac, yet still close to everywhere you long to be. Wild Ponies, Beach Combing, and one of the most gorgeous beaches in our country are just a short stroll or bike ride away! Did you know that Assaeague National Seashore is the most visited National Park in our country? Spend a little time here and you will discover why this is.....  
  
  
  
  
Surrounded by Magnolia Trees, this lovely home truly makes you feel at one with nature. You'll love relaxing on the huge Screened Porch - a great place to enjoy some Fresh Local Crabs or the Fresh Catch of the Day, which with any luck, was caught by you! Island Sage offers lots of privacy, yet puts you in the heart of everything wonderful about Chincoteague Island.   
  
As you enter Island Sage, you will feel right away how loved this Home is by its Owners, who have had it in their Family for many years. Enjoy relaxing in the spacious Living Room - Brand New Flat Screen Cable TV and Free WiFi coming Spring 2020! Plenty of room to enjoy time with those you love without ever feeling crowded. Craving a little "adult time"? The kiddos can have their own Movie Time in the Den, which also features a Queen Sleeper Sofa and Flat Screen Cable TV.  
  
The Chef in your group will love the Well-Stocked Kitchen with all you need to make mealtime a bay breeze. Dine indoors in the Dining Area, or Al Fresco on the Screened Porch, which is just off the Kitchen. You can even grill some burgers on the Charcoal Grill while listening to the Tree Frogs sing. Not one to cook on Vacation? You are just a hop, skip, and jump away from so many dining options.   
  
Island Sage sleeps 8 in 3 spacious Bedrooms plus the Den. The lovely Master Bedroom has a comfy Queen Bed and colors of Sand and Sea. Decorated with a Country Flair, you'll feel warm and safe as if you were staying at Grandma's House. The Private Master Bath has a Walk-in Shower, as well as lots of storage. Just across the Hall, Bedroom 2 also has a Queen Bed. Down the Hall, Bedroom 3 has 2 Twin Beds and Sunny Yellow Accents. A 2nd Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo is located just off the Living Area and convenient to both Bedrooms.

Not only can you walk or ride your bike to Assateague National Seashore, you can also walk to Shops, Dining, and more. Start the day with a Bike Ride to the Beach, or sip coffee on the Porch while taking in that salty, sweet sea breeze. Assateague National Seashore offers many events during the Summer Season - sign up for a Tour with the Rangers, or let the kids explore the Visitor's Center, which is always a treat. Climb the Assateague Lighthouse, and of course, search for our famous Wild Ponies. Or bring your Kayak and launch just down the street - we can help you rent Kayaks, if you like, as well!
