The Dairy , Birdham - a barn conversion that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
The Dairy is a beautifully converted modern cottage on the way towards West Wittering. Only a five minute drive from West Wittering beach this makes the perfect getaway for a family of four hoping to enjoy the best of what our South Coast has to offer.
Birdham is situated between Chichester and West Wittering with easy access by car or bus to both. The historic cathedral city of Chichester is only 10 minutes to the centre by car and has excellent train links including a direct line to London Victoria.
The Dairy is one of two barns here on grounds of Thatched House. The Stables next door is almost identical and can work very well if travelling in a larger group together also! At the back of the cottage is a lovely large lawn looking out over the picturesque land surrouding the property and from the front of the cottage you can take a stroll with the dog across the fields and out towards Chichester Canal.
This gorgeous barn conversion has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. With high ceilings and tall windows out to the grounds which gives it a pleasant light and airy feeling and is more than suitable for entertaining all the family. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to effectively self-cater during your stay. This includes, kettle, cafetiere, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and a separate laundry room is in development and can be used in an out building across the yard from the cottage.
The living area includes a large wide screen television and free Wi-Fi available for entertainment. Board games will be left available for guest use and please do make use of the outdoor dining area in summer, it's a bit of a sun trap!
There are two bedrooms at the cottage. This is usually set up as a super king double and twin room however upon request you may have two super king double rooms or two twin rooms. Please ask upon booking. There is one family bathroom with shower and good sized wash basin.
There is plenty of parking at the cottage all off road. Undercover can be made available should you need it. Please mention this upon booking.

Spacious and modern with everything you need
I visited the Snug during Oct half term with my nine year old daughter and we loved it. The cottage is very spacious yet cosy and a really relaxing place to stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our stay and there are lots of things to do in the area - West Wittering beach, Portsmouth Historic Shipyards, Chichester town etc. We ate out at the Cider House pizzeria and The Lamb Inn nearby - both were excellent. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property
Lovely property close to West Wittering beach and al the sights on offer in Portsmouth. Really lovely holiday accommodation with comfortable beds, a great family space with TV, well equipped kitchen, outdoor space with bbq available and a separate utility room which came in handy for washing and bike storage. Jo is a friendly and welcoming host. We recommend it highly.

Lovely rental just outside of Chichester
A great holiday cottage. Really clean with excellent facilities. Very quiet location (the turning in to the property is easy to miss!), spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Owners are really friendly and helpful but gave us privacy during our stay. We were able to park the car right outside and the wifi worked well. Took about 10-15 mins to drive into Chichester but it is an easy journey. Some lovely 'extras' such as a Welcome Pack, really useful guide to nearby restaurants and a spare umbrella for those wet days. All in all a great stay which I would highly recommend.
My only gripe - still waiting for the refundable damage deposit to be returned so will have to chase
