I went to the front desk to find someone. They came 30minutes later and said they couldn't fix it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!! This was a case of "Expedia" versus "reality". I booked this room for a dance competition in the area. We had a long trip there and arrived an hour early so we inquired on checking into our room (if possible) and the lady at the front counter very rudely stated "no, check in is 3:00pm" and she walked away. Not to mention we had to ring the bell just to get service. The lobby was bare as could be, not welcoming at all, nothing in it. I could tell there was no breakfast offered which sucked. Then, when we finally got to our room, it was disgusting. To the point that I contemplated asking for a different room but my husband talked me out of it. It was dirty, walls had stuff all over them everywhere we looked. The beds were AWFUL - absolutely awful - they were thin and you could feel EVERY spring in it - so bad that my 4yo & 9yo complained of discomfort. There were no blankets, just the sheet and a thin cover sheet. Only 2 pillows per bed and they were flat as a pancake. There were ZERO furnishings in the room - no kleenex, extra toilet paper (only 1 roll), only 2 towels, no lamp, NOTHING. I overheard someone call the front desk while I checked in, asking for extra towels, and the lady said they don't offer room service for any stay less than 14 days. Unreal. We ended up sleeping with our own throw blankets we brought along because the bed sheets had hair on them & our door did NOT lock, we relied on the door stop. I didn't realize going into this that the property was completely self service, no room cleaning, no towel exchange, no linens, unless you are there for over two weeks. One front desk staff member was friendly, however the rest just seem inconvenienced by everyone. The floor to our room was dirty enough that when you would get out of the shower, your feet were already visibly dirty again by the time you walked from the shower to the vanity area. I brought this up requesting the floor be cleaned, and I was advised that I would have to pay to have the floor cleaned. Same issue with the towels, 2 towels only go so far. If I wanted to have them exchanged, it would be a fee. If I wanted to exchange linens and make my own bed after 3 nights there, it would be a fee. The place smells absolutely terrible. I can't stress this enough. As soon as you go thru the lobby (which smells fine), the smell hits you like a ton of bricks. All of our clothes got washed when we got home, clean or dirty, as the smell of that place was absolutely disgusting. The bed's were uncomfortable to say the least. I've never seen such cheapness with a hotel before. They didn't have bed springs, it was just a metal frame and a mattress. Needless to say, it doesn't really work well like that. No bathroom soap, one roll of Scott one-ply toilet paper, two towels, and one floor mat. Anything else, you have to pay for. We didnt get in until 7 at night, clerk up front was not so nice. They are pet friendly, but also people using it as extended stay. There was no toilet paper in room and when we went downstairs after leaving to get supper, they were closed up for the night, literally. Thank goodness i travel with baby wipes. It does have kitchenette, but no utinesils, it was a bare necessity room. For what i paid anight i expected better. No curtains to block the bright parking lott lights. Microwave didnt work. Had to pay for the terrible wifi if more that 2 people needed it. The place smelled disgusting. They gave us 2 towles for 3 people and if you needed more you had to take the others to them and they would give you two new ones. The blankets on the bed where more like sheets. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this one is right up there with the worst.
