You’ll have a clean bathroom, full kitchen, laundry in the unit, and reliable Wi-Fi. It’s a great space to relax after a day out or just hang with your people. The Space: A cozy place where you can truly relax and feel at home. It’s perfect for both short trips and longer stays. Here’s what you’ll find during your stay: The living room has a comfy sofa, a TV for entertainment, and a dining table where you can enjoy meals. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and everything you might need for cooking and dining in. Each bedroom features a plush queen-sized bed. The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and basic toiletries. There’s also a washer and dryer in the unit, so you won’t have to worry about laundry. If you’re working remotely or just need to catch up on a few things, there’s a desk and reliable Wi-Fi available. Our apartment is in a great location, with easy access to public transit, and just steps away from restaurants, shops, and everything you might need. Guest Access: Guests have full access to the entire property during their stay, including all listed amenities. The space is private and not shared with anyone else The Neighborhood: This property is in the Hyde Park neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, a culturally rich and walkable community with a blend of residential charm and city energy. Hyde Park is known for its tree-lined streets, diverse dining options, local shops, and historic architecture. It’s also home to green spaces and parks that add to the neighborhood’s relaxed, welcoming feel. Residents and visitors alike enjoy a mix of urban convenience and community atmosphere in this part of the city. Getting Around: Getting around Hyde Park is easy and convenient. Several CTA bus routes run nearby, providing direct access to downtown and other parts of the city. The Metra Electric line is also close and offers a quick ride into downtown Chicago. The neighborhood is very walkable, with restaurants, cafés, parks, and shops within easy reach. Street parking may be available, and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily accessible. Other Things to Note: To help keep things safe and smooth, we may require a quick screening and a government-issued ID. Pets are allowed with prior approval and a pet fee. We welcome dogs and cats only for $100 per pet. Pets must not be left unattended unless they are crated, must follow quiet hours, and are not allowed on furniture. It's in a typical Chicago apartment built 100 years ago with high ceilings, lovely moldings around the doors and on the walls. It was recently renovated and looks very up to date without losing its original charm. The kitchen is equipped with everything we could have needed plus a lot more. There are three bedrooms, each with its own closet (the middle bedroom's closet even has a built in light, a nice touch). The front bedroom faces the street, has a bay window, must be 25' deep and almost as wide. We all liked it so much we hung out there more than in the living room. The other two bedrooms have plenty of room. The beds are comfortable.The apartment is on an attractive residential street, several doors down from a busy commercial avenue with lots of restaurants and shops, but there was no street noise to bother us. Being a first floor apartment, we were aware of foot steps from the residents upstairs, but it was not a problem. ##### Peter G.
