As a result, bugs are fairly commonplace both in and out of the house, especially in the spring and summertime. We do employ pest control mitigation tactics that help to keep most bugs at bay, but given the area in which we live, it just isn't fully possible to rid our house of all bugs. The best defense against these bugs is to keep all doors and windows closed as much as possible. We do apologize in advance though if you come across any bugs while staying at our place. Guest access: We ask that our guests park in our driveway. The driveway is very long, with ample space for multiple cars. That said, we recommend parking in the part of the driveway that is in front of the house rather than the back, due to the proximity to the front door. You will use a code to enter the house via the front door. This will be your code for the duration of your stay. We didn’t spend a ton of time at the home, but rather used it as a home base of operations to enjoy what Chicago had to offer. The shower wasn't putting out hot water and it took two attempts to get it fixed over a 48 hour period. It also had a bit of a musty smell and we didn't find the beds comfortable. It was very clean and comfortable, stocked with everything needed. The yard was huge, which our dog loved. The neighborhood was very quiet. It was a good location for us, as we had an appointment at Rush Medical in Oak Brook, less than a 10 minute drive from the house. The host was super friendly and very responsive to any questions we had. We would love to stay again on our next visit to Rush. Super happy with the house! ##### Carl B.
