West Town is a very walkable neighborhood. Parking can be a challenge in the city, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Taxi for further distances. The "L" train is a 6 minute drive to the Blue line Chicago/Milwaukee stop or 5 minute drive to the Grand Blue Line stop.   
You can also rent scooters and e-bikes in the area.

Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.   
  
★ DOG-FRIENDLY HOME ★   
Bring your furry friends along for an exciting vacation. They'll enjoy and run around the patio while you enjoy your drinks. Please inquire about breed restrictions, as we have a 25-pound weight limit and a $50/night per pet fee. Unauthorized pets will incur a $200 fee. We love our furry friends but know that new spaces can be scary to pups. You are still responsible for picking up after your pet, inside and outside. There will be an additional fee added to the existing pet fee if there are any surprises left behind.   
  
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★   
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a $1000 fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning.   
  
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★   
We do not allow parties or events to take place on the property. This is a Chicago rule as well as our own. We have a $1000 fine if found doing so.   
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

Hosted 8 adults for a nearby wedding very comfortably. Plenty of sleeping spaces, well stocked kitchen, and two nice new bathrooms. Not really anywhere besides the kitchen to hang out - so just plan to go sightseeing and do things outside the house - plenty to do within walking distance. Lots of stairs...so good mobility required. THANKS!

#### Nice location and space

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location is in a safe neighborhood and tucked back from any busy roads so it was nice and quiet. There were some things needing repairs /updates (unpainted drywall patch chipping in upstairs bedroom, stain on the blue bedroom's curtain and vent hanging off the wall in that room, kitchen smoke alarm removed). Hopefully these repairs will be completed before the next guests. Otherwise, the place was just as pictured and worked well for our family's trip for a nearby wedding.

Perfect location for a wedding at Salvage One. The only thing at the house is the living space is on the 2nd and 3rd floor. I don’t recall reading that in the description. We had some older adults who had a bit of a hard time climbing the steps.

#### Short Chicago Vacay

The unit was nice, clean and comfortable. The location is good. I could see the area being sketchy but it was fine for our short stay. Communication with the owner when needed was quick to respond and gave good information. Would stay again, pricing was also very reasonable.

This place is lovely. There are some kinks to be worked out, but overall we had an enjoyable stay. The doors/locks don't seem the most secure though. Our host was very responsive. If you plan to use the L, plan for a bit of a walk. The neighborhood is cute, which makes the walk enjoyable. There is a dog daycare next door. You can tell when dogs are being dropped off or picked up, but it is otherwise quiet. An added bonus is seeing cute pups!
