It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one-of-a-kind. This 3 bedroom + 2.5 bath vacation rental boasts three levels of charming living space and a stunning 360° city of Chicago skyline view.

Amazing charm & character in this historic property. The building used to be an old bar and ballroom- this penthouse unit was part of the top floor ballroom before it was abandoned then restored into a stunning residential abode. Original masonry and exposed rafters with open 2nd floor give this location a loft-like feel. While still carefully maintaining historic beauty and character, this 3rd floor penthouse property has all the modern conveniences. Hardwood throughout (marble in bath), granite counters, stainless appliances, well equipped kitchen, central ac/heat, mesh wifi is blazing fast fiber optic, two master bedrooms, and a private rooftop with 360 degrees of Chicago city skylineview (trust us that the photos cannot do this one any justice!)

This Chicago Penthouse is on the top level of this three story building, and there are three levels inside the penthouse with 25' ceilings, classic but elegantly appointed there is a subtle rustic loft like feel with exposed rafters and exposed Chicago brick throughout. (No elevator in building.) Enjoy the nearly floor to ceiling windows on the main level and third floor with breathtaking views of the city of Chicago skyline. Perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or an adult beverage and watch the sunset (or rise) over the one-of-a-kind city of Chicago silhouette of skyscrapers. There is also a private rooftop deck with nearly a 360° unobstructed view of the Chicago skyline.  
  
Conveniently located in central proximity to nearly everything wonderful that Chicago has to offer. Quite a spectacular place.

The building is occupied by long term tenants and so we do not allow events or entertaining of any kind to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone. No guests in excess of reservation unless prior written approval. However, the Pub across the street has ample room for parties and even has two different private party areas that you can usually use free of charge (just let us know and we can help you make arrangements.)  
  
The Irish Pub across the street, Irish Nobleman Pub, is a highly rated neighborhood bar & grill with great food and specials every day of the week.

Many people stay here who are in town for: Lollapalooza, The Chicago Marathon, Blues Fest, to see the museums, Art museum, Field Museum, Science & Industry Museum, Nature Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium, Solider Field, Wrigleyville, Wrigley Filed, to see the Cubs, to watch the White Sox, Comisky Park, US Cellular Field, Sears Tower (now called Willis Tower)... well but we still call it the Sears Tower ;-) , Belmont & Sheffield Music Festival, The Bean - Cloudgate, Shopping on the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue Shopping), Trump Tower, United Center, Hancock Building, music venues, festival locations, Riot Fest, Lollapalooza, Chicago Theater, Lyric Opera House, Merchandise Mart, and so much more.
