It felt like a hostel, but with my own room. The location of the guesthouse is great for being central to all of Old City's main attractions, but the guesthouse is not initially easy to find. Overall, staying in this guesthouse was manageable when in need of sleep, but nothing more. Rooms are dated and could use a little tic as well the guesthouse could likely get some new linen as one day the bed linens were changed and the new linens were visibly stained. We arrived after a 12 hour coach at 8am knowing we were early however we hoped to leave our bags there. The lady at reception said we could leave our bags and come back at 1 to check in. We had a long lunch and explored the area and came back at 2, an hour later. We were then told they had changed our room and it wouldn't be ready until 2:30... An hour and a half after check in time. I'm sure they wouldn't allow us to check out an hour and a half late but they delayed our check in... We also booked a room with a tv and weren't given one either but after a long day we just wanted to shower and get to bed. After 2 days we asked if our room could be made up and we also needed more tissue paper. The girl at reception said this was no problem. After arriving back after a day out we saw our room hadn't been made up at all. We have now moved to another place which is cheaper and has much better service.
