The cabin was comfortable and quiet. The rooms were large enough for my husband, dog and me. The vaulted ceiling made the living room and upstairs pool room feel spacious. The king bed was a plus for my tall husband. The bathrooms were well appointed. The TV choices were excellent. Nice to watch the baseball playoffs by a cozy fire. The pool table was fun. The screened in porch was so relaxing. Terrific space to read. The long walk to the lake was worth it. Don’t know about fishing. We didn’t try. Our dog appreciated the blankets and bowls. Very thoughtful for dog families. It didn’t take too long to get to Blue Ridge and we went into town several times.
