Cozy & clean. Had a little problem with the plumbing as soon as we arrived, but the host was very fast to send someone to get it fixed and they took care of it within about 30 minutes. We enjoyed the outdoor grilling area, but I would suggest putting some sort of light out there. We had to grill by flashlight. Host was responsive to any issues we had. The host was so helpful with our last minute booking! And I can’t say enough about the location, it was located in the nation park and we were greeted by large herd of elk every time went drove down the driveway. This home is really close to all the hiking trails on Newfound Gap Rd, a few miles to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and much more. If you want a quiet location, this is your spot. Home is comfortable with ample living, dining and kitchen space. The front porch in the morning and evening is so peaceful. The owner was very responsive to anything we needed.
