This stylish holiday home has been thoughtfully renovated with an open plan downstairs, each room flowing into the next, making the most of the space. The cottage's historic features are still on show with painted beams throughout and vaulted ceilings in both bedrooms, these have been combined with more modern finishings, creating lovely light and airy rooms throughout. Outside, the courtyard garden offers a sheltered yet tranquil space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. Events are not permitted without prior consent A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00 The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of lovely touches left for us to settle us in!! (It would be a lot easier with a non stick frying pan!) Parking round the back was good and easy accessible, you can even park electric car overnight at Tescos (5 min walk away) to charge! It was a very comfortable environment, the beds were comfy, two full bathrooms, clothes washer and dish washer. Our only complaint was the sofa, which was not very comfortable.
