Perfect for multiple families, a couple’s retreat, or your next family get away. Summersalts will easily accommodate 13 people in the main house and 15 if you include the optional studio. With a contemporary open floor plan this home features hardwood floors, custom wood accents, a chef’s kitchen with KitchenAid appliances, oversized island, gas cooktop, beverage/wine cooler, gourmet accessories and a 50” linear gas fireplace in the great room. The main floor king master suite includes extra wide doors and an En-suite ADA custom tiled walk-in shower with heated tile floors. The main floor opens out to a 1000 sq. ft covered patio complete with several seating areas; beyond that is a large back yard, complete with a custom fire pit, grill, dining area, chaise lounges and a large hot tub overlooking the lake. Plenty of space for yard games and gatherings. The entire main level from the front porch, garage, patio to the back yard are all zero-step accessible. Upstairs at Summersalts there are 2 identical king master suites; one with a soaking tub/ shower combination and the other with shower. Both vaulted ceiling suites have large sitting areas with a desk, daybed and trundle sleeper to accommodate families. Off the sitting areas are a common 200sq ft private deck offering beautiful up lake views perfect for your morning coffee, a good book, your daily exercise routine (yoga mats included) or to take in a sunset. Downstairs…kids will love having their own space that includes the bunk room with 5 built-in bunks, reading lights with usb ports and a spacious media room with a smart TV, PlayStation/DVD, game closet and plenty of seating. (The extra-long bunk beds would be comfortable for adults as well) A separate bathroom with shower, locker storage and laundry room complete the basement. And finally, the optional carriage house above the oversized garage. (Someday this will be my painting studio.) Secluded, spacious and well-appointed with a separate entrance, this gem of a space is 550 sq. ft with a king bed, shower En-suite bathroom, living/dining area, kitchenette and private 270 sq. ft deck with a shade sail and expansive up lake views. The studio has its own Mitsubishi heating/cooling system, TV & internet, plus a separate wireless VSSL sound system with indoor/outdoor speakers. Our main home features dimmable lighting, a second fully integrated VSSL wireless 3 zone in-door/outdoor sound system to play your favorite streaming music app or personal playlist. High speed internet, and digital high definition cable TV service are included. Two Trane HVAC units will maintain that perfect temperature year-round, and 2 InfraRed heaters on the back porch this fall will take the chill off on those cooler Chelan nights. Summersalts, with the carriage house, had ample room for all of us, especially with the lovely outdoor setting. Kids and adults were entertained with the hot tub, fire pit, ball games and the view. We had a majority of our meals outside. The house had a large supply of everything we needed, including kitchen supplies, towels and games. Our overall experience was beyond perfect. The access to the whole resort by walking the paths or using all the frequent shuttles made it easy to see it all. The marina setting was very visitor friendly. Staff were helpful, accessible and cheerful. They were accommodating when we had to return after our stay and pick up items left behind. Two grandparents, five parents and six children ages 2-9. The house was perfect.There are no details overlooked at this property. From wonderful linens and comfortable beds to a pantry of items that you might have forgotten to bring. The layout of the house is spacious , the "hot pool" a huge hit and serviced everyday. The pools and snack bar were a huge hit and one grandchild earned $10 for jumping in the lake! The house was immaculately clean and spacious and had a lot of outside area for the kids to play. We used the fire pit and outside dining area every evening after the kids went to bed. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Both pools were walkable from it and the pick up place for the beach cart was just a short walk from our driveway. We have stayed at Chelan Lookout many times and always have the best experience. If you are looking for a bigger home for a large family or multiple families, this is the perfect place. Reviewer Comments: The space was great, very clean, inviting, good layout, had a hot tub, bluetooth speakers in the ceiling, and even had extra spices and seasonings in case you forgot something. However, the last foot or so of handrail at the top of the stairs was cut off at a 45 deg. angle from the rest, and the bolt was loose (seemed like a design/builder defect/flaw, and a dangerous condition to have in a rental house). We enjoyed our stay, but were later called about the "damaged" handrail (the handrail that you use in order to keep from falling down the stairs, and that is supposed to hold your entire weight without breaking). That was a turn off, considering that we paid over $2,600 for a weekend stay in the winter along with a damage deposit and damage insurance, and the handrail was loose before we got there, and was a dangerous condition that should never have existed and that could have put members of my family at risk of falls down the stairs. ##### Edwardo M. But the rental office support was VERY lacking. On the first morning of our stay, the house fire alarm went off several times starting at 6:00 am. It took five hours for the rental office to have someone come check on the problem. Construction around our house often started before the 8:00 am designated time and the construction crews started blasting their music well before 8:00 am. When we called the rental office about the music, we were told that they could do nothing about it. How is that possible? When we ran out of propane, it took over 12 hours for us to get a new tank. We have witnessed renter customer support decline steadily over the past few years during our annual summer stay at The Lookout. Reviewer Comments: We had the most fun vacationing in Chelan at The Lookout and at the Summersalts #55. The house has top of the line everything and was the perfect space for gatherings and for quiet time. It has a beautiful view from the back porch. The Lookout also has the best space. We played pickle ball, used the pools, and practically lived on the beach by the marina. Renting boats and jet skis was super easy. And we could head into town just a few minutes away.
