It offers access to a private hot tub, a furnished back deck, and a covered front deck with a charcoal grill. In addition, there is a shared fire pit for you to enjoy during your stay. The natural surroundings are incredibly charming and memorable. With a main bedroom and a sleeping loft, Peggers can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. My two daughters loved the upstairs loft where they each had their own twin beds. Everything was supplied as far as supplies for the bathroom including bodywash, shampoo & conditioner. We liked that all cooking utensils were supplied. We enjoyed the hot tub outside and it was easy to operate. We also appreciated the wood supplied for the campfire! We bought a little box fan for added circulation in the loft, which made it perfect. I may have misread the listing because we were expecting a pull-out sofa. Regardless, the sofa was a fine size for my son to sleep comfortably. The porch was perfect for relaxing and playing cards. This cabin is in between both venues. The cabin smells like wood, it’s like camping outdoors but with the comforts of home. Everything we needed was there. The “made with love” soaps are amazing. The hot tub was the best, just what we needed after a long day of waking. Only downside was that the train tracks are very close by and at times we’re loud and very long. The other thing was there was a rainstorm and the rain is very loud on the metal roof. If you are a light sleeper like me then bring ear plugs. Just Right My friends & I told my sister we were kidnapping her for a fun girls getaway for her 60th birthday. We rented Peggers cabin. The property has several cabins and is very close to most everything you could want to do in Chattanooga! 3 of us gals stayed. The hot tub was great! We got in about an hour after arriving, and relaxed until it was time to go to dinner. I'd had many conversations before our arrival with our host, Frank (who is FANTASTIC at being so helpful & responding so quickly). Frank suggested several places to dine & fun activities to do near the property. He wasn’t kidding when he said the 1885 Grill was only 5 minutes away. Dinner was tasty & the atmosphere was nice & laid back. After returning again to our cabin, we couldn’t resist the hot tub again - even in 32-degree weather. So, we went for another dip before retiring indoors for the night. The TV in the living room was big and the long couch allowed for all 3 of us to kick back and watch a movie together before bedtime. We gave my sister the big bed/bedroom. I climbed the small steps to the loft and crawled to one of two twin-sized beds, which was very comfortable, and our friend decided to sleep on the couch. She has bad knees and didn't want to climb the steps and crawl to bed (Hey, we're in our 50s/60s). The amenities in the cabin and on the property were perfect for our needs. There's a woodshed to the right just after entering the property. Be sure to grab a few pieces of wood for your fire. We didn't know where the wood was kept until we discovered it on our way out. We didn't build a fire for S'mores as we'd planned because it was just too cold out and we were tired from our adventures. Next time, we plan to take advantage of the fire pit though. Peggers was neat & tidy with very nice, updated appliances. We only used the refrigerator coffee maker, washer/dryer & hot tub during our one-night stay. The beds & sheets were clean & comfortable. Nice towels were provided for indoors & for the hot tub. The fridge was spacious and clean with an ice maker. The neighborhood is cute and the neighbors are respectful of your privacy.
