This spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath home is equipped to serve up to 6 guests and is perfect for family vacations, a couple's retreat or friend's trip to Chattanooga! Two of our favorite features of Greenwood Cottage is the hot tub and it's location with it's close proximity to Downtown Chattanooga! It is 1 mile away from the new Oddstory Brewing and 1.5 miles from a long list of our favorite restaurants on Main Street and 3 miles from Downtown. Our Favorite Things: Enjoy the hot tub on the back porch, the open concept layout inside and the fully stocked kitchen filled with everything you will need to cook a meal during your stay. The master bedroom has a comfortable King bed with access to its own bathroom, as well as closet space and a large flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, its own bathroom, and access to the washer and dryer. We love that this home is centrally located and in a great spot for sightseeing throughout Chattanooga! Take part in exploring local hiking trails, kayaking, and head downtown for dinner at one of the city s popular local eateries! Home Layout: As you enter the property you will find the spacious front porch with comfortable seating. Upon entering the house, you will find the beautiful fully stocked kitchen and living area. Off of the living room is access to each of the bedrooms and their bathrooms. The laundry can be accessed via the second bedroom with the Queen bed. Access to the hot tub is through the back door on the deck. Additional Things To Note: 1\. There is no driveway on the property and there is only street parking available. This is not a busy street or neighborhood so it is easy to find street parking right near in front of or near the home. 2\. This property is dog friendly - 2 dogs max allowed! HOT TUB: Please advise!! Hot tub maintenance is very important and it s some thing that we take very seriously in between guest reservations. If the hot tub has to be dumped for sanitary and health safety reasons on a turnover day when the property is booked back to back, it may take 8-12 hours for it to reach high temps. We do the best we can to be proactive with this but ultimately it is out of our control to make the hot tub heat up faster. Health and safety for our guests is very important to us. Weather and Outages! Please note: There will be no refunds in the unlikely circumstance that there is a power outage during your stay or if the weather is not cooperating. We do not have any control over the weather or outages caused by nature! We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance to be preventative in case something happens and you need to cancel. Everything. Turned out ok. The microwave didn’t work, which the owner mentioned would be replaced. The ice in the refrigerator also didn’t work which was disappointing. The location of the property is not in the worst area of town, but it seems like that is just what Chattanooga is like now. ##### Savanna M. This house was perfect for our trip and just as pictured in the listing. Both bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms was a bonus. The house was impeccably clean and even still had a Christmas tree up from the holiday. It felt so homey and was less than ten minutes from literally anywhere you want to visit. We highly recommend this location. Quiet street. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub every night we were there. You will not be disappointed at all. ##### Stacey M. Pros: -small house for a crawling baby -backyard was a great size and the deck is really nice. -we had an issue with the WiFi. We called and left a message and the property manager called us right back. She was quick and helped us connect. -house was clean and the Christmas decorations were nice. -not far from the tourist attractions Cons: -location: The area is more up and coming than established. The street the house is on is nice but the surrounding area had rundown homes. Target and Walmart are 20 minutes away. Not much to eat around the home. -location said they had a high chair but we could not find it. I did not call and ask where it was since we have a portable one. But it would have been nice to not have to sit on the floor to feed my son. ##### Christina B.
