We are a very small business run by two people and we do our best to provide clean and comfortable lodgings in Chatham at a reasonable price, where the average price of a room is double what we charge. I'm sorry that, despite all the good things ("Rooms were clean. Pictures interesting. Recommendations well thought out. Great books. Beach towels provided. Great history. Early check in provided. Good parking.") you still left with negative opinions. If you return to Chatham in the future, you might consider staying at one of the more expensive BNBs.

Thank you for staying here! We are sorry that you did not like the bathroom location! Our other two accommodations (the Main Suite and the East Room) both have the bathroom on the same level as the sleeping area, so those might be better for you. Only the Garden Suite is split with a staircase between the bedroom and bathroom. We hope you will give one of our other options a try if you return to the Cape in the future! We try to make it clear in our photos that all of our rooms involve stairs in some way (hopefully folks with mobility issues will contact us before booking). Regarding transportation- it's about 1.5 miles to town along a busy road, so we do recommend that folks have their own car, however there are other options like Uber, the bus system, and bicycling if the weather is decent! Sadly, because we are in a renovated 18th century farmhouse, the East room cannot have a microwave because they blow the fuse, however the other rooms do have microwaves.
