"This historical home is just so cool. My kids kept finding new treasures throughout the home. We used it as homebase for my son's wedding and extended family and friends were very comfortable. Enough spaces, rooms and bathrooms for everyone to enjoy time together and apart. My kids LOVED the pool which was very comfortable temperature for September. Hard to believe that this is downtown Malone since it feels so secluded. Since it was wedding weekend, my kids didn't feel that that got to enjoy the house to the fullest, so are wanting to return again to just recreate. Clean, well stocked with linens, supplies etc.. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. "

"This was our second year vacationing at this cabin, and we absolutely love it! The perfect place to disconnect from reality and enjoy nature. The lake is beautiful, and they offer a variety of boats and floats to enjoy it. Love that our dogs can come along and enjoy it as well. They love it! Looking forward to more visits in the future! "We rented this property to have some extra space for a reunion we were holding nearby. The place was perfect for our group! The house has a unique (in a good way!) design with beautiful stained glass. The lake access is in a beautiful spot that is great for swimming!"

"This is such a magical place. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with trails, gardens, and a happy hound, Ollie. The cabin was clean and comfortable and very well stocked with pantry items, kitchen appliances, and cookware. Andrew was such a welcoming and responsive host and even let us pick berries and tomatoes from his impressive garden. Ollie joined us on walks through the property and peeked in through the kitchen window to say hello. We loved our stay and would certainly try to book again when we come back to the area."

"Although the house was lovely and fit our needs well, the true gem of this property is the pond! There was a small penninsula on the water with chairs, table, and firepit. The spring fed pond was quite special for swimming and for simply hanging out by. We would definitely return here."

"Critter Cabin is everything we want in a vacation cabin. This cabin is authentic with every thing we need. Very cozy, clean, quiet. Wonderful views of Mt. View Lake. All the needed amenities for outdoor activities plus great wi-fi. Such peace and quiet. A perfect place for us and our two dogs. Thank you so much Doug for letting us stay here all these years. "
