With 121 feet of ocean frontage and a beautiful park-like setting, you can easily unwind on the Adirondack chairs and watch the waves, shooting stars or sunrise. You'll also be treated to a view of the Nubble Lighthouse and Boon Island! This home features a gas fireplace, a cozy sunroom, a firepit and recently received beautiful upgrades while keeping the old charm. This home can also be rented together with Sea Belle - Castle Rock & Sea Belle Cottages. Situated right on Pebble Beach, you can enjoy an afternoon of climbing on the reef and exploring the huge tidal pool playground at low tide. Go swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking or try fishing right off the rocks - and bring your water shoes for this! If you're visiting during the 4th of July, you'll have a great view of the fireworks. Take a quick stroll to the Short Sands Beach and downtown, which boasts great shopping and restaurants. The Cape Neddick Park is a mile north or head two miles south of this home to see the Nubble Light House up close. Things to Know Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We enjoyed watching the lobster fishermen each day checking the traps and even got to see whales feeding out by the bouys. Each morning was beautiful as we made it a point to get up early to watch the sunrise from the front porch. The view of the ocean and York's two lighthouses, plus the soothing ringing of the red bell buoy, is something we dream about all year long. But the extra space in the living area & sun porch, the full bathrooms, and the larger kitchen made our stay at the Castle Rock nearly perfect. The decorating is tasteful and the furniture is very comfortable. Less than a 10 minute walk to the little beach town is such a bonus. Amenities listed 2tv's only one when we got there none in the living room, 3 calls because nothing was resolved until the last call error on the website only one tv. Our last day there we found the tv in the living friend visiting who is an engineer hooked it up for us unfortunately it was our last day. other little things but the tv was the most. The beautiful ocean views with accompanying sound of crashing waves was perfect for our relaxing get away. Close to restaurants and shopping. Great place. Easy booking and check in and out. We spent every night outside at the fire pit - lots of places to buy firewood on highway 1, wish we had remembered to buy things for s'mores! Perfect beach getaway for all ages (4-80)! Quiet and relaxing oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough to walk to for lunch or a day at Short Sands beach.
