A cobalt blue house stands at the top of a hill, encircled by lush green vegetation, secreted from the rest of the world. A flowing stream cascades from a natural wall of rocks. The little brook snakes around the quaint house. It swirls around an obstacle course of protruding rocks, white caps flowering the rill.
I sit with a captivating book in my hands, basking in the tranquility. Lofi rhythmic music spills into my ears from my headphones, injecting me with the serenity of this little corner of Virginia. Birds whistle jovially in the canopy, the dappled sunlight warms my body, accompanied by a gentle zephyr that toys with my hair, running its wispy fingers through the strands.
I allow myself to devour the scene, to relish the perfect calm that this little house embodies.
