The Tree House was perfect for our family. We came to Charlottesville for our daughter's wedding and needed a place big enough to hold our family of 10 plus another family of four. We felt like there was plenty of room and the surrounding area is beautiful! It is a little way from grocery stores or other shopping, but the location is peaceful and quiet and we loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the yard. We had 14 people total with an age range of 77 to 3 years old. The house suited everyone! It was clean, had ample towels and blankets, easy access to walking trails, and a much-enjoyed wood-burning stove in the living area. It was the perfect balance of well-cared-for yet relaxed, cozy but with plenty of space to retreat, and a private location with easy access to town. We had a large group of friends and family, and I must say, all 10 of us were very impressed by how comfortable and spacious the accommodations were. We especially enjoyed the large outdoor patio area, it was a perfect weekend. So many bedrooms and bathrooms. Great living space for all of us to gather. Well stocked kitchen with Kindle and regular coffee pots. We opened presents by the wood burning stove in the cozy front room and singing carols around the piano. We had a GREAT time staying here! We had 12 adults and 2 children. We all had bedrooms/beds and plenty of room to gather. The kids loved the outdoor swing and playroom upstairs. The house is close to wineries and breweries. A great family get together with wonderful memories made here. We will be reserving this house again. The place was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space with the fire pit was SO cute!! We enjoyed the quiet and serenity before the big day. This house is spacious, clean and has great outdoor amenities! We very much enjoyed everything that the house and neighborhood had to offer. The listing was accurate, but there is a small playroom that was not in the pictures. The host was flexible and responsive.
