We live on a cul-de-sac in a peaceful and safe neighborhood conveniently located with proximity to shopping malls & IKEA, UNC University, IBM, Wells Fargo, PNC Music Theater, and the light rail. Newly renovated modern and spacious private walkout basement 1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen, king size bed, closet, full bathroom, and screened in porch. This is a PET FREE & NON-SMOKING or VAPING unit. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! Free Wi-Fi Parking Spot On Driveway Private Entrance Cable TV in Living Area & Bedroom Fully Stocked Kitchen with Keurig King Size Bed & Pull Out Couch ( Pack & Play available) Control Heating & Central Air Condition (Separate from the rest of Home so you control the temperature to your comfort) Screened in Porch Access to Greenway You have your own parking spot on the driveway with path and motion lights to your private entrance. The lower level with a screened porch is your own personal space. It’s accessible from a private outside entrance directly into your suite, available from the back of our home. We have a spacious backyard that you are welcome to use for your leisure. Guest Access: We have a convenient 24/7 check - in system that allows you to have flexible times, no matter how late at night. We are also flexible with check-in time but contact us if you are planning on checking in early. Interaction With Guest: It’s your preference!!! We are happy to interact as much as desired. We enjoy meeting new people, but will also respect your privacy. Our guest enjoy the privacy while staying at our apartment, ensuring you can relax and enjoy your stay. We are very responsive by text if you need anything. We live in the upstairs of the home with our children. We usually greet guest upon arrival and walk them to their entrance. This is our home & we have children that play and use the yard. While we give you your privacy you may see our children playing in the yard or hear occasional footsteps upstairs. We do our best to keep the noise minimal but you may hear footsteps at times during the day from the kids. The Neighborhood: Location Location Location!!!! All of Charlotte is easily within reach. It was clean enough ... though we did need to clean sticky areas off the floor, and wash a glass from the cabinet with greasy fingerprints and food residue on it. I usually wash dishes before I use them in VRBOs anyway, but it was gross. The bed was clean and comfortable and it was great being able to set the thermostat to our liking. The host was responsive to messages. The whole time we were there, we only heard footsteps from above a few times. It was very quiet and restful. A floor lamp or two for the seating area would have been nice. Only one side of the bed has access to an electrical outlet. We rented this property for 3 nights with the knowledge that a family with young kids lives in the upstairs. We quickly realized this was not the case because of excessive noise throughout all hours of the day AND night. The owner never responded to our four messages which caused us to have to talk to the neighbors to find out what was going on. Long story short, the top part is also being rented out. As two young girls, coming back to our VRBO to 5 grown men standing in our driveway was very scary. The listing should be updated to reflect the current situation so nobody else will be mislead. ##### gracie r.
