Only HUGE problem was that we could not gain access with the code we were given. We were not able to reach the owner with the number given and had to drive out of area for cell service to leave a message with owner. Did not hear from the owner at all. We reached out to VRBO who attempted to contact the owner and could not reach them. VRBO asked us to wait an hour for hopeful contact or they would make every effort to find us another VRBO in this area. When owner did not return our call we drove back to the rental facility and found 2 cars in driveway that were not there before. When I knocked on the main house door there was a lady who identified as not being the owner but she was just there and immediately jumped through hoops to help us get access. It turns out the code box battery went bad, wasn't working, so she gave us a key to use for next 4 days. It took about an hour for this all to work out and then we rushed to the venue. This was perfect. We especially loved the trails we got to walk through. The owner was very polite. There were some small cleanliness issues I. Try bathroom (body wash dispenser needed cleaned). The listing said checkout was at 11am everything in that apartment said 10am. That made for a more rushed morning than planned on our final day. On the amazing side, the location is great. Targa Cay, Rock Hill, and south Charlotte have awesome restaurants. The apartment is 20 or so minutes away. The hosts were responsive to our immediate needs. We would rent again. ##### Ransom K. Meghan was so clear with check-in instructions and was very responsive before, during, and after our stay. The place was very clean upon arrival, the bed is SO comfortable and we loved having the coffee to wake up to each morning. And, hopefully, will be able to continue to do so. We travel to our home in Florida with our dog and this is the perfect halfway stopping point. It's clean and we just love it. The property is beautifully wooded, with walking trails, deer and birds. The room was very clean and cozy, and the owners are great. Once you lay on the bed, you’ll never want to get up!
