Unfortunately, the carpet was dirty, register dusty and guests had the company of flying roach/s and wasps in the house. Owner indicated he would follow-up with a house visit. Unfortunately, he arrived at the house, but “forgot his key.”3) Owner should replace sofa featured in VRBO headshot, as sofa is not sittable with any degree of comfort, as sitter sinks to floor. 4) Owner should carefully choose wording for kitchen - it is not a “working kitchen,”… perhaps should read “ kitchen space with limited inventory, therefore bring your own cutlery.”5) Owner could have responded to above with better business etiguette and practice, instead of ‘60s mindset of deflecting, patronizing, and gaslighting our concerns. Owner unwilling adjust fee or initiate best business practice by calling this renter back to discuss texted concerns of this renter at the end of the contracted stay. Interesting and unusual experience for us and guests.
