A Summary: Completely separate 2 bedroom 1300 square ft. apartment with no shared spaces. Victorian home built in 1860 has old-world charm but modern amenities. Home has brand new flooring, cabinets, fixtures & appliances. Every detail was given consideration to make this the best valued VRBO in Mooresville area. Mattresses are new Tuff-N-Needle, bedding is high thread-count, pillows are comfortable. New appliances, professionally cleaned and more. Near Davidson College (10 min), Lake Norman & Charlotte The Space: You will enter this apartment by going into front door and walking up the stairs. On the right side, you will find large bedroom with queen bed and large closet. In closet is pack-n-play, extra cot as needed, laundry basket, hangers and board games. Laundry room is located at top of the stairs along with iron/ironing board. Washer/dryer in unit is free to use with laundry detergent. On the left side you will see a very well stocked kitchen with new Stainless Steel Kenmore appliances, dishes, towels, and more. Keurig Coffee machine with free coffee, cream, sugar and many small appliances like toaster, Ninja Blender, waffle maker and much more. Children dinnerware, all cooking material and over 50 individual items are stocked in the kitchen. The dining room seats 5 and also includes a high chair. The final room is a very large combined bedroom/living room. 2 comfortable queen beds along with a large leather couch with queen pull out mattress. 4k Roku TV along with Blu-ray player in the living room. Very high ceilings throughout all the home. Guest Access: Apartment "A." You will park in the back and entrance is front door. Lockbox with code allows you entrance. The Neighborhood: Located near downtown Mooresville, you are within minutes of Lake Norman, Davidson College, Lowes Headquarters and more. Within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Only about 30 minutes north of Charlotte. Getting Around: Parking is on property in the back. Please do not park on circle drive. Park on asphalt parking lot. Other Things to Note: Very fast WiFi (100 mb+). Please park in asphalt parking off circle drive located right by back door. Apartment is Letter "A” and entrance is front door. There are 2 sets of stairs and apartment is complete 2nd story. Check in is 4pm or later and check out is 10am or earlier. Interaction with Guests: We live nearby so if needed please just ask. Ring security camera is located at front and back door for safety. If all you are looking for is a quiet place to stay for the night, this is great. There are good aspects to this house. It’s not far from the city center, quiet neighborhood, and has new appliances including laundry which was very useful. Our issues were the overall wear and tear - smudges and missing paint. The sink in the bathroom is beautiful but the faucet was loose and felt like it was going to fall off. There were no towels until we found them in the dryer. There were bugs all over the window sill in the bathroom, and the coffee maker looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I hate giving reviews like this, but if this apartment was given a bit more care, it would be a great place to stay. Everything was clean and comforting. The host responded to me quickly any time I had a question. A lot of living essentials are provided which was an added bonus. There are lots of updated amenities which gives it a modern feel. There are a set of stairs to apartment A, this may not be feasible for a person who has difficulty with stairs. We arrived at night and there was not good outside lighting which made finding the house and the door a little tricky. The neighborhood seemed a bit strange as well, not exactly a residential neighborhood. But once upstairs, the space was inviting, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. There were 3 beds and at least 2 additional fold away beds but only one small bathroom. Also, there is no designated living area. The only TV is in a bedroom.
