Perfect for a family or four adults. Five minutes to Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. Castle Farms is less than a mile away. If you like to fish, walk across the street to a small lake and throw a line in! Hike the Mt. McSauba recreational area (4 miles from cabin) to Lake Michigan or relax on one of our beautiful beaches. Fisherman's Island State Park is three miles away on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are located close to natural areas and conservancies with trails for hiking. Stroll through downtown Charlevoix while enjoying a local treat from an ice cream shop. There are many casual or fine dining restaurants within the downtown area. Check out the Charlevoix schedule for summer festivals and free concerts! Take a "Mushroom House" tour to view the iconic Earl Young homes in the area. The Charlevoix library is a special place for all ages. Enjoy the views of the harbor from a bench in the park or walk the pier to Charlevoix's historical lighthouse as the bridge opens for boat traffic. The cabin is on a popular biking route. Bring your bikes! A walk out the back door you will find a Maple Woods with an outdoor fire pit and grill. An indoor gas fireplace adds warmth to living space. What we didn't expect was how absolutely immaculate, comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated this place is! It may be the cleanest, newest feeling VRBO we have ever stayed in! My fiancé and I got married in Charlevoix and it was a perfect 2 night getaway for us for the remainder of our weekend. The house was clean, appliances were brand new, and locationally you are right down the road from Castle Farms, plus an easy drive into downtown Charlevoix. Lilly (the host) was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. If the opportunity presents itself, we would 100% stay here again! ##### Ryan P. The house is very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower is extra large with plenty of hot water. The front yard is large and very pretty with numerous beautiful flowers. We spent a lot of time in Boyne, and it was easy to drive to via road and even quicker by ferry. The host provided a much appreciated welcome gift as well. If you don’t need a lot of space this is perfect. We could have used internet, but got by on cellular data. We were so close to the two wedding venue - Charlevoix yacht club & Castle Farms. Wish we had time to enjoy a bonfire or a nice hike. The Shed was very clean and had all the supplies we needed. Would 100% recommend. ##### Gary G. Mcsauba), 10 min from Loeb Bay (and the outstanding family friendly Landing Restaurant). Property is beautiful, spacious, and just the right amount of "your own patch of paradise". Loft worked great for our "kids" (er, young adults) and beds were very comfy. Great firepit for s'more making. A day trip to Mackinaw Island (return through Tunnel of Trees and Legs Inn) is very doable and should be done...and then you will feel even better about your decision to stay here!
