New horse farm apartment, centrally located between 3 N. MI. resort towns

Newly constructed, two bedroom, one and a half bath apartment. Located inside a working horse barn. The 1890s farm sits overlooking Lake Charlevoix, and is conveniently located within a 10 mile radius of Boyne City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. No matter the season there are always activities to participate in. From beaches, to boating, to shopping, to dining, to skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling. Although this farm holds its 1890s charm, the finishing touches are being put on this brand new apartment. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second bedroom with a double bed, full bathroom has a walk-in shower and plenty of storage. All brand new linens, towels and bed coverings are provided. The working kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and oven, even a Keurig for your morning coffee. All pots, pans, and table settings are at your finger tips. The kitchen is open to the main room which includes a large farm table . The sleeper sofa, and two large chairs surround a cozy fireplace for the cold winter months. The entryway is a great place to dry out wet towels from the beach or icy skis from the slopes, and is adjacent to the half bath which also includes a full size washer-drier.

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts. We had everything we needed. We loved walking the property and meeting the beautiful horses. It was just a short drive to various beaches where we found Petosky and Charlevoix stones.

Cute, Clean, cozy, and a terrific location
We were four adults on an up north fall weekend trip to see the autumn color change and experience the region. Staying at this apartment WAS PERFECT. The towels, sheets, and blankets were sooo comfy and soft. Everything was new and nice. The owners put a lot of effort into making sure the accommodations are warm and comfortable for their guests. They contacted us when we arrived to make sure we had their cell phone number and let us know that they were available if we needed anything (we didn’t need anything over our three days there). The location was close to Petoskey, Boyne City, and Charlevoix We visited all three and had such a great time - it was a wonderful weekend away! We visited wineries, did small town shopping, watched football, took beautiful scenery pics, listened to live music, ate at amazing restaurants and then came back to our cozy little apartment to watch movies and sit around the cozy little fireplace. The owners were great - we’ll be back!

Autumn Colors in Full
The apartment is a cozy, quaint little find. The place looks like the pictures, but add a nicely stocked kitchen with k-cup & ground coffee, cream, sugar, snacks and even dog treats and comfy beds. You find yourself surrounded by horses on both sides and at night, if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the horses stirring in their paddocks. Only thing I would like to have seen, direct TV or Spectrum. The TV does have a Roku, but you are very limited to any news or regular TV. Overall, the fall colors were in full and anywhere you drive, each view is different from the next in colors, landscape, lakeviews, and red barns. The location was perfect to venture out to all the must see small towns, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Bay City, Petoskey and Bay Harbor Village. Nearby Restaurants Cafe Sante, Argonne, Vue, Bella Vita were each excellent in their own way. One of my favorites, was waiting to see the deer in the field across the street, each morning and early evening, that and the sunsets over the hilltop. We are already looking forward to a return visit next fall.

Had a great time in Petoskey/Charlevoix and the property was perfect for our group! There was even a little welcome basket when we arrived. The hosts were very accommodating, home was very well maintained and clean, and loved that there was a patio off the side door. Would definitely stay here again in the future!!

Great place to stay with a small group
This is a unique place to stay. It is a space that has built into the barn on a horse farm. Everything is very clean and new as it wasn’t built too long ago. Three of us were very comfortable, but it isn’t a huge space so large groups will have to get creative with sleeping arrangements. The hosts are very friendly and fast to respond. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Location & Unique Venue
The house was obviously newly renovated and had that modern farmhouse feel. It was literally a converted milking parlor turned apartment. We had our children from 1 year old to 12 and they loved the horses just outside the side door and the beaches to the North, East or West of the apartment, within 10 - 15 minutes. We would definitely stay again!

Just Perfect
Stepping into this space in person brought an immediate smile to our faces. Absolutely clean and newly renovated, this rental is not one to pass up. There were small details and finishing touches that showed how the owners care about their guests and want to make them feel welcome. Walking around to say hi to the horses was such a cool way to start the morning after a cup of coffee. We weren’t aware that there would be an outdoor space for grilling and gathering, so that was a lovely surprise. This was the perfect location for our plans and had great views all around. We are already talking about ‘when we come back one day…”.
