This home also includes paved off-road parking for your convenience, a rare luxury when staying in Downtown Charleston! As you enter the property through your own private entrance, you will be met by the spacious front yard - where you may spend some time relaxing under the grand magnolia tree. From the moment you walk in the front door, this stay will have you feeling right at home; from the furniture choices to the finishing touches everything was designed with your comfort in mind. As you step inside, you will be greeted by the living room - where you will find three sizable lounge chairs and a comfortable 3-person sofa. The living area also features a 40" 4K Smart HDTV and a bookshelf full of great reads for your entertainment. If you continue towards the back of the house, you will find yourself in the fully equipped kitchen - stocked with all the basic cooking/kitchenware necessities. The adjoining dining room area includes seating for 4 with additional seating for 2 at the bar counter. You will also find the half bathroom and laundry room on the main floor located right off of the dining area. The 2nd floor is home to both of the bedrooms - each featuring a King-sized bed, private bathroom, and ample room for you and your belongings. Guests will have access to the whole house. To the left of the house you will find a small alley that leads to our parking are lot. Here there will a parking space facing the cottage labeled “Cottage” for you. To the right of the parking area, you will find a gravel walkway to a black wooden gate. Go through the gate and up the stairs to the front of the house. Enter the code provided. If staying more than a night or two you’d need to get some more but you have enough to start. A drip coffee pot ( we bought coffee grounds) was provided. We did not use the back porch sitting area during our visit as it was not very welcoming; the area was dirty with leaves and debris, and the furniture was also dirty. ##### Carol W. We each had our own king size beds and private bathrooms. The living room and kitchen area were very comfortable and inviting. The location was very quiet but a short walk to King Street for shopping and restaurants and a quick Uber ride down to all the activity on East Bay Street. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the property to any friends traveling to Charleston. ##### Susan P. This year we chose Charleston. The Rainbow Cottage was perfect for both couples. The 2 king bedrooms are a necessity. The beds in the cottage were very comfortable and each bathroom was very clean. We loved the character of the decor and the modern kitchen was definitely a plus. The weather was beautiful during our stay and we enjoyed the deck in the back. The residential neighborhood was a plus with a local market and coffee shops within easy walking distance. Our only complaint was since the weather was so nice there was a party at the house next door and they played loud music on their porch until the early hours the evening of the Super Bowl. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Stay Duvet staff is easy to communicate with and attentive to the needs of their guests. We would recommend The Rainbow Cottage wholeheartedly. ##### Greg H. The listing did mention coffee was provided to get us started, but there was no coffee, and a box of tissues would be nice, but those are small things. Overall, a wonderful property. ##### April S.
