There's also great striper bass fishing on Lake Murray with a fish cleaning station available for your use! In addition there's two boat ramps on the premises to launch your own boat and a dock to moor at! The property offers shared watercraft as well, including 2 Pedal Kayaks, 3 Regular Kayaks, a Canoe, 2 Paddle Boards, Floats, Children's 4 seat paddle boat, and a 15' bouncer on the lake when available during the summer season. The sidewalks around the property are nice to stroll on with awesome views of the lake, fountains, and a pond. Walks in the evening are especially nice when the stars are shining brightly. Island's Sunset Gold Guest Room has a queen bed sleeping 2, it's own private bath, 2 nightstands with lamps, a dresser, a desk by the window to view the lake, two side chairs, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, and an exterior entrance to the rear deck. This room is our smallest guest room. It does not have kitchen or laundry facilities, however, there are lots of restaurant choices nearby, as well as a propane grill on the back deck. \*\*\*\*If more space is needed, additional properties on site can be booked such as: Property Listing #3311929 - Island's Sunset Blue Guest Room which is the largest of the guest rooms and sleeps 2 in a king bed, has a desk with a beautiful view of the lake through the large bay windows, a TV, a recliner chair, a private bath, and a private exterior entrance. This room also has a fridge/freezer/microwave combo, and a single serve coffee maker. There is no kitchen or laundry facilities, but there is a propane grill for use on the back deck. There is also: Property Listing #3312176 - Island's Sunset Green Guest Room, our middle sized guest room, which sleeps 2 in a queen bed, has a desk with beautiful views out of the bay windows, a loveseat and ottoman, a private bath, a mini fridge, a keurig coffee maker, and a separate outside entrance. The property was absolutely gorgeous with lake front views, a pool, hot tub, beach fire pit as well as a gas firepit on the covered porch. We sat by the gas firepit while it rained over the lake and it was beautiful! The kayaks were so much fun and the lake was so calm. The room was more than we could have hoped with so many personal touches, extremely clean with snacks and drinks in the refrigerator. Dennis and Debra were wonderful hosts! There is a beautiful pool and hot tub; there are boats for guests to use; a grill—even a pizza oven! There are plenty of places to relax on the spacious porch—even a table with a fire, as well as a more traditional fire pit on the small sandy beach. And all that is before you get to the immaculate room! Our hosts thought of EVERYTHING. They anticipated every need a traveler could have, from bottled water and coffee creamer in the fridge, to a Keurig coffee maker and a fresh bucket of ice. Very comfortable bed with great a/c and beautiful decor. The worst part was we missed meeting Debra, who was out of town, but the other half of this dynamic duo: Dennis, was so warm and friendly. He told us all about the area and what not to miss (hint: Chicken Butt Donuts!) We arrived at the Island Trail VRBO and were warmly greeted by our host Debra and Dennis as if they already knew us. They immediately gave us a tour of their available rooms and a guided tour around the beautiful property. The stay at their VRBO is by far the most impressive property that we have stayed at thus far. The grounds are immaculately, landscaped with lit walkways, fountains, trees, and beautiful, flowering shrubs. Our room was very tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The room had a mini refrigerator stocked with beverages, a basket of snacks, and Keurig with coffee, tea, hot, chocolate, etc.. Our hosts provided a very detailed notebook with all the information needed for our stay in our room, including suggestions for local eateries, places to visit, and a map of the lake. This VRBO is a must if you are looking for a peaceful and/or romantic getaway, or just want to have fun on the lake, we highly recommend you consider staying here. If we were to rate it from 1 - 10, this place would be an 11+!! This has been the best VRBO experience and, hands-down the most awesome host we have ever had! Debra and Dennis were so accommodating to me and my husband. Debra greets you when you arrive and then shows you the property and all of its features. The room is very nice, complete with water and creamer in the fridge, snack bars and so many varieties of KPods for the Keurig in the room. It has a large bathroom, good size closet, dresser and the bed is very comfortable. Though the rooms do not have a microwave in them, there is one just outside the door with a complete set up of plates, plastic ware and paper towels. An ice machine is located next to the microwave and is always full so you can fill you room’s ice bucket. Debra shows you how to use the TV’s remote so you don’t have to worry about trying to figure out which buttons to push. She has a binder in each room with information on restaurants in the area, a lake map and things to do while at Lake Murray. The property has a small pool, hot tub, games, gas grill, kayaks( even peddle kayaks) a paddle boat and much more! There is boat ramp next to the 2 bedroom, full kitchen cabin, also available for bookings. You can bring your own boat and tie up at their dock. And the property is right at water’s edge so you can enjoy and relax to the sights and sounds of lake living. I have already recommended this property to many of my friends because you will enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you Robersons! ##### Lisa M. Room and property are both well-kept. Plenty of options as far as activities. Nature wildlife to watch. My room was beautifully decorated. The owner was so nice and helpful throughout my stay. She takes you on a tour of the entire place with all the extra amenities.
