Located on the road that connects Chania with the Sougia coast to the south and the Omalos mountains and the Samaria gorge, it is ideally located for visiting the city center and all the sights of the region, from the beautiful beaches to the picturesque Cretan countryside. Only 11 km and less than 15 minutes by car from the town centre, 10 minutes by car from the nearest sandy beaches on the north coast and 5 minutes by car from the leisure water park. In the village of Agia, in the Episkopi area, the fully equipped villa offers convenient, comfortable and private accommodation. Grossery and cafe just across the street. Agia is a rural area where the landscape is characterized by the cultivation of citrus fruits and olive trees. The landmark of the region is the protected habitat of Lake Agia, which is an ideal recreation area for hiking. The villa consists of two double bedrooms, large dining and living areas, a large covered outdoor veranda, beautifully landscaped flower gardens, a private swimming pool of 35 m². surrounded by a large terrace with deckchairs and parasols, private indoor parking. The master bedroom has a queen size double bed and the second has a double bed.Both bedrooms have air conditioning, plenty of storage and balconies overlooking the orange grove. In the open dining room there is a sofa (1.00m x 2.00m) which can be used as a bed. Through the fully equipped kitchen is provided access to a covered veranda with table and chairs. From there, an outside staircase leads to the swimming pool. A charcoal barbecue is provided. The villa is fully cleaned and beds made before guests arrive. All towels (double set for each) and linens are included and will be replenished weekly. The popular and fairly busy coastline of Platanias and Agia Marina is easily accessible from the villa, just a ten minute drive away. There you can enjoy the organized sandy beach and the Cretan sun. In general, it is a suitable base for people wishing to explore the delights of western Crete. An ideal place to have exclusive use, privacy and at the same time easy access to all activities. Stella could not have been more generous with offerings of local produce, helpful and knowledgeable tips about places to visit in the area, and her time. The house and pool are both spacious and immaculate and the gardens and orange groves with cicadas are beautiful. Air conditioning in both bedrooms meant we all slept very well. Plenty of towels and bed linen were available if needed. Stella met us as we arrived (even though our plane was delayed and car rental issues held us up by about 90 minutes) and was warm and welcoming. She was helpfully attentive at the beginning and end of our stay and sent links /suggestions for places to visit once or twice during our 10 days. The place is an easy drive to Chania with its Old Town and beautiful Venetian and Turkish influences and spectacular sunsets. There are many places to eat and drink and lovely little shops. The newly located Museum of Archaeology is wonderful and well worth a visit. Beautiful beaches and mountain drives and gorges too. We had a lovely time! Thank you Stella! ##### Zoe M. Our host Stella was wonderful. After a long trip from the States, she welcomed us at the house and had a wonderful meal cooked for us, plus sides of Greek salad, fruits and beverages. The refrigeratorand pantry were stocked with essentials which made it really easy to get our vacation started without stress. She was so responsive before and during our stay. Then for the villa, it was beautiful. Stunning flowers surround the house and it is set in a lovely citrus orchard. The pool was pristine and so refreshing during the hot Greek days. It was cleaned early every morning so spotless every day for our swims. The house was immaculate with plenty of fresh towels and linens. The air conditioners worked great and kept the bedrooms very cool and comfortable for sleeping. We were a short drive to Old Town Chania and very close to many beautiful beaches and restaurants. I recommend Villa RoseMagnolia to everyone and hope to stay there again in future years during our holidays to Crete. ##### Despina D. She went over and above to make us comfortable; providing food and drinks for our arrival and baby equipment for our little one. When we weren't happy with our rental car seat she provided her own! She really was amazing. The villa was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and amenitie. The extra large fridge/freezer was so useful and the air con really saved us from the August heat. The pool makes the villa: is a great size and surrounded by orange groves with views of the mountains. The location of the villa is great for accessing both the coast and interior of the island, it is on a main road which initially we were worried about, but we quickly realised the noise from the cicadas was louder than the traffic! There are multiple shops within a few minutes drive so it's really convenient too. We would highly recommend this villa. Location. Perfect for exploring the West and the Central part. 15 minutes to Chania. Minutes to the main road. We even made it to Agios Nikolaos and the east coast. Supermarket is just 2 minutes from the villa. 2\. Cleanliness. Unbelievable. In such a big villa – not a single spot. Everything (the floor, the dishes, etc.) were so sparking clean! 3 .People with sleeping problems – this place is just for you. Two bedroom windows overlook the orange garden surrounded by mountains. 4.The pictures don’t reflect the real beauty. My husband is an architect (specialized in interior design), admired it very much and said that such a design should appear in the design magazines as an example of superior taste. 5\. Everything here is made for comfort. The very comfortable mattresses, wide beds, many towels of the softest material, fans, air-conditioners, soft carpets in the bathrooms and even inside the bath. Nets over the windows. We stayed in the end of June but inside the villa was so nice that we had an excellent sleep only with the windows opened (and during our stay there were no mosquito at all outside). I couldn’t find the smallest thing that a traveler may need but which Stella didn’t provide (even professional hair dryer, toothpaste, the nets and spare buttons!!!). 6\. the villa is big and it is perfect for couples or family. 7\. Pool extra size,pretty big and deep, nice warm water. 8\. Garage in the basement floor, huge, very convenient access to the villa, the car remains cool even when left inside for a whole hot sunny day. 9 . Stella. From the very first words of our correspondence I felt that Stella is an OUTSTANDING HOSTESS. But still was surprised by HOW MUCH SHE CARES about her guests. PERFECT HOSTESS IN A PERFECT PLACE. She did everything and more. Welcome delicious food, drinks, coffee, fresh oranges for morning juice – there were so many things that I can’t mention them all. She provided very detailed instructions, suggestions … and her smile. We usually like an active holiday, leaving the house in the morning and returning in the later evening, but not this time. We admired and loved “our” villa so much that we returned to it in the afternoon to rest and be at the pool (the location close to everything allowed us to do this).
