Maison Rose. Apt 1 Maison Rose, Apartment 1 is a modern very well appointed, luxury apartment. It has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin, 1 twin has en suite) 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The main living area has wooden flooring with under floor heating and a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, oven, hob, microwave/combi oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The sitting room area has 1 large sofa and comfortable chairs with satellite TV and a beatbox. It has French doors leading to a terrace with views of Argentiere Glacier (ideal for BBQ). The dining table divides the kitchen and living areas and there is also a breakfast/bar area. One of the bedrooms has doors leading to another terraced area and forms part of a tranquil, mature garden to the rear of the apartment. There is a cellar suitable for storing ski's and bikes or other outdoor equipment. Maison Rose is in the heart of the traditional mountain village of Argentiere Skiing in Argentiere, Chamonix, Mont Blanc: Although Argentiere boasts the most challenging area in the Alps the surrounding area is also good for beginners and intermediates alike and the ESF French ski school is one of the best in Europe. The village is very child friendly and children are welcome at restaurants and there is a great crèche facility close to the ski slopes called the Panda Club. Summer in Argentiere: The summer can be relaxing or energetic. There are great mountain walks or hikes with breathtaking views. Paragliding off the top of Brevent with an experienced instructor, white water rafting, canoeing, mountain biking, glacier walking, ice climbing, rock climbing with an indoor climbing wall at Les Houches are all possible. The Plan Praz 18 hole golf course is a 7 minute drive away and there is riding, tennis, swimming, cycling and nearby. One can take the Aigulle de Midi cable car for fantastic views if Mont Blanc and Mer du Glace. Getting to Argentiere: There are many airport transfer services running between Argentiere/Chamonix and Geneva Airport at very competitive rates. Most of the major car hire companies operate at Geneva airport. Easiest to hire from the Swiss rather than the French side. We are a familiy of 5 and felt at home. It is located in Argentière where there are afew shops and restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. To go skiing you can either walk to the skylift of Les Grands Montets (10 mins walk) or take the bus to the other ski lifts, since the bus stop is 50 meter away. Mar 5, 2016 #### Maison Rose - Argentiere An extremely well equipped, comfortable apartment within easy walking access of all the shops, bars and restaurants of Argentiere and, most importantly, within easy reach of the slopes. Parking across the road at the train station but if full, long stay car park at the Grand Montets ski lift proved to be an equally good alternative. A boot warmer to ensure that the ski boots are warm and 'comfortable' to put on in the morning, wifi, well equipped kitchen, tv, comfy beds, loads of hot water and a contact person never more than a phone call away in case of need. Coupled with some great weather and incredible snow, one of the best places we have ever stayed in our favourite sking resort. We walked from the condo to ski at Argentiere which ended up being our favorite mountain in the Chamonix area because it's the most difficult and we are a pretty hard-core ski family. We also walked each morning around the corner from the condo, to the bakery for fresh baked goods. The village has some great restaurants and we also drove each night about 7 minutes by car to Chamonix and did serious ice skating, Luge, shopping and dining. Last, the condo is only 20 minutes to Coumayer ski resort in Italy which was amazing!! Thank you for letting us stay there!! ##### Caroline E. It was a the perfect spot. All the facilities one needed. Great support from the owner and local property manager which made everything stress free. And wonderful location next to free car park, bus stop and train station not to mention the line up of bars, restaurants and shops all on hand. Can't rave enough about this place. We spent just under a week at this beautiful, perfectly located apartment in Argentiere. Clean, warm, exceptional interiors, with all the kitchen amenities you could possibly need, this truly was a home away from home. With only an hour's drive from Geneva, Argentiere is possibly one of the most easily-reached ski resorts I have ever visited. Although on this occasion we were not there to ski, we certainly were not limited for things to do. There are copious walking and hiking routes, and many of the bike hire shops were still open for business, as well as various spas in Chamonix - perfect for a cloudy day. Aug 4, 2016 #### A great stay... This is a beautifully presented apartment in the centre of Argentiere. The village itself is very attractive -- we used the cable cars to visit the glacier, did some white water rafting and had endless turns on the luge in Chamonix. It's such a lovely, homely place to come back to after a long day on the slopes. The apartment is so beautifully decorated, the beds are super comfortable, its really well equipped, and is in a great location, close to all local restaurants, shops and ski areas, as well as Chamonix, which is only a short drive away - I will definitely be coming back! ##### Tiffy G. Mar 11, 2016 #### Perfection We only went for a long weekend but could have stayed in this apartment for ever! It is so cosy, comfortable, stylish and well equipped. Everything worked. It was easy to find. We drove and parked the car thirty yards away. Everything is on your door step. Spoilt for choice of patisseries, supermarket, brilliant and unpretentious restaurants and even a pizza takeaway which we were eating within 15 minutes of phoning them. i can't recommend this apartment highly enough. ##### David S. Feb 20, 2016 #### Superbly appointed apartment We have become use to going ski in/ski out whenever possible. This apartment isn't but it did not impinge on our enjoyment at all. The car park is just across the road and then a 2 minute drive to the Argentiere main lifts where there is a large car park. It is in the middle of Argentiere where there are some very good restaurants/bars/shops etc. The apartment is so homely and clean with all you would expect and more!! Significant improvement on many other apartments we have stayed in previously in the area. Well equipped and maintained with great kitchen, wifi access, furnishings, bedrooms. Oct 6, 2015 #### Everything perfect as described Recently renovated beautifully refurbished making the property comfortable and warm. A 5 minute walk from the nearest ski lift, and being in the centre of the quiet village makes it perfect for all ameneties.
